very similar experience to recent oil sludge class action settlement except our car is a 2004 Toyota Sienna (50,000 miles). Our check engine light came on and as we were taking our Sienna to the dealership, it stalled and smoke started billowing from the engine. There was no indication of overheating while we were driving the car to the dealership until it stalled. We have very good service and maintenance records on this mini van and actually just had it's regularly scheduled service 7 weeks earlier at the same dealership. They are claiming we drove it when we should have known it was overheating and that we burned out the engine which will require a complete replacement ($5600 to $9000) even though we are still within the powertrain warranty.

I have a Tundra and the engine keeps stalling. It just went out of warranty. Should I take it back to the dealer and see if they will go ahead and fix it still? Are they good about things like that?

JJFAGS whats up? My fords are not runnuing to good....My Ford f150s ecoboost engine just quit on the highway...heard they are having alot of problems with the turbo V6....must be true. And, my Ford Taurus, the engine shuts down going down the highway at 70 then turns back on......thats a recall, BIG time. Ford needs to man up and just close up shop and get into the Detroit food scene.....later!

The first time I gave oral to another man was in the back seat of a Corolla. We were on a snow covered road in a Toronto alley and the battery died. We had to walk home. From that point on I only dated men with a Chevy or a Ford. I drive a Chevy Volt and a Silverado but that doesn't mean I don't like Toyota.
