I just picked up a new Infiniti G25 from Infiniti of Manhattan and I love this car. It is fast, looks great, comfortable and affordable... I was going to buy a 2011 Nissan Maxima but with leather and all other options it cost more than the New G25. I paid just under $30,000 for the Infiniti G25, which is the best deal in the luxury car market.
One thing that I wanted and Infiniti did not offer was the touch screen navigation system for this model. This was going to kill the deal, but the sales staff at Infiniti of Manhattan told me that they can install the icon unav touch system in my brand new 2011 G25. They installed it and it works like a charm. the navigation system is full touch screen and it has great graphics and functions, it is really simple to use and I did not even read the user manuals... if you want the best deal on a great luxury car like an Infiniti, then you have to take a look at the new G25 itís best bang for your money and it feels like a million bucks.

I work in NYC but live just over the GWB, I live 5 minutes from Infiniti of Englewood and they just got in the new Infiniti G25x. I want the AWD because of the bad winter weather in the east coast. I wanted the G25 with touch screen navigation, and the dealer said,í no problem'' we will order a G25x with navigation for you. They installed the navigation at the dealer and now I have the new Infiniti G25x in white with navigation. This vehicle is beautiful in and out. Runs smooth and very quiet... I stopped by another dealer and they told me that there was no navigation for the g25, but I guess they need to do their homework if they want to be in business much longer. my final thoughts on the Infiniti g25x is that it is the best deal if you want an upscale car with leather that looks and drives like dream. I was also looking at the new Nissan maxima but for the price with navigation the Infiniti was a much better deal and it's got AWD.

Lol... I wish, and then I would be rolling in dough... The new G25 is a great car; the only thing it was missing was the factory navigation system. But after doing my research, now my G25x has it all including touch screen navigation system and I just had the dealer install the back up - rearview color wide angle camera to my oem screen - monitor system. This car is great on gas and it moves... great buy for anyone that wants a hi end car without the hi-end price tag. I love it!!!

I just ordered a new 2011 Infiniti G25 rear wheel drive... I got it in black and with the 7'' factory oem style navigation touch screen installed at Infiniti of Manhattan. This is the scoop,$31,975... You canít even buy a Nissan Maxima with leather and navigation touch screen for that price... itís a no brainer.
I have been driving the car for 2 weeks and so far I love it. I get 30mpg combined city and highway driving. The factory stereo sounds real good and the interior with the leather trim looks sharp. I did not buy the G25x because I drive my truck in bad weather.

The new Infiniti g25 is a very nice car. I wanted a nice car for the weekend trips with the family and this new 2011 g car is it. The lines on this car are beautiful and the rich leather interior really makes it a complete package. I purchased it last weekend at Infiniti of Manhattan in NYC. The new 2011 Infiniti G25 with touch screen navigation and rearview back up camera for $32,469. I think this will be one of the best selling Infiniti vehicles... this model year, and the price is right on!!!

''Wow'' Infiniti got it right...
For the first time in a long time, you can now drive a luxury vehicle for the price of a middle of the line car. The new 2011 G25 and G25x with AWD are 2 great new additions to the already strong line up that Infiniti has to offer. I was looking at CPO BMW Lexus Mercedes Benz etc. and after looking at all my options on the table without breaking the bank, the Infiniti G25 was the smart choice. It is a brand new car, but not really, itís the G37 body in and out with a smaller V6 engine that has plenty of power and better gas mileage. The interior looks exactly the same as the G37 and the body does as well. I decided to buy the 2011 G25x with navigation touch screen at Infiniti of Englewood in NJ. My wife and I have had a great time with our new Infiniti and I would recommend it to everyone.

The 2011 infiniti G25 is a bad ass car. It looks and runs like a car that should cost $45k not $30k. This is the best deal on a brand new infiniti, it is the deal of the centry. I found out about this great ride a few months ago, the dealer told me that they do not come with navigation... but I found out that they could add navigation at the dealership. They try to up sale customers to the G37 if you want navigation. But if you ask the sales manager or the parts manager at any infiniti dealership, they will be able to install the icon unav touch screen navi system. The best part is that you can drive away in a brand new G25 with touch screen nav for under $33k. Now thats a deal!!!

This is a great thread...thanks all for the info.
I've now spoken with 2 dealerships in NJ - Ray Catena in Edison 7 Circle Infiniti in West Long Branch -
Both are claiming that the G25 does not come with a "Factory installed" nav system. Can you guys tell me if you got the factory installed system?
The latest response from Circle is:

"Thank you for the response. The touch-screen Navigation system that is out there for the G25X is an aftermarket accessory. This system is not covered under warranty. We have not received a lot of feedback on this system. Because of that, we currently do not install this product through our dealership"

Is this correct?

I actually spoke with a salesperson at Infiniti of Englewood - and the Nav system is an aftermarket system - and is not covered by Infiniti

I bought a NEW G25 from INFINITI of Englewood with navigation touch screen and it does have the factory warranty... The system has the same warranty as the car 4 year 60k miles bumper to bumper. Just one more thing, it works great!!!

I purchased a new Infiniti G25 from Infiniti of Manhattan 2 months ago. They had a few in the showroom, some with navigation and some with out. All the G25x on the showroom floor had the Icon Unav touch navigation system installed. The sales person told me that they install them at the dealer in the service dept. by a qualified technician. He also explained to me that the system came with the same warranty as the vehicle had from the factory. The G25 comes with a 4year 60k mile warranty, and that is the warranty that the navigation touch screen comes with. The system works great and a month after I had the Infiniti G; I went back to the dealer and had them install the optional night vision wide angle color back up camera. I enjoy driving this great, but it is much nicer with the touch screen navigation system and the rearview camera.

I own a Infiniti G37. It did not have factory navigation but it did have the color lcd information screen. When I took my car for service, the sevice advisor asked me,'' do you want touch screen navigation in your 2009 Infiniti G37''. Well, a few hours later the oil change was done and they Installed the Icon navigation system. It works great and looks fantastic. I have no idea how they turned my non-touch screen to a full touch screen navigation, but it's awsome.

The dealership has it for an MSRP. of $2,999 installed... but I had some discounts and they had a special that weekend... so it cost me around $2,499...
I like the touch navigation system very much and it works like a charm. I might go back to add the Icon rearview night vision back up camera in a few months.

Molly, this is a must if you have an INFINITI with no navigation. Good luck!

this system is great, i work at a Dealer in nyc and we have an infiniti & nissan dealeship and we install many of these systms. the customers at our location like the full touch-screen nav and that we can also a dd a back up camera if needed. we ran a special on the nissan murano with this icon unav installed and we sold lots of them during that special sales event. we even had other dealerships calling to ask how we are selling brand new nissan murano with touch screen navigation for 6, 7 or even 8 thousand less than they could... this has been a great addition to our new car sales and also used car sales. if you want a new or used nissan or infiniti but dont want to pay for the fully loaded models, just ask your sales person about adding the icon unav system, they work great.
