Toyota Gets Fat, Inventories Mounting
Toyota and Scion dealers are facing record high U.S. vehicle inventories as a result of consumers' unwillingness to buy the abundant stock, which is comprised mostly of SUVs and trucks.

This is nothing new. Toyota should know by now that large vehicles are not selling in the US because of gas prices.

They're suffering the same fate as everyone else. The economy is lagging and big-ticket items, especially those that guzzle fuel, aren't selling.
It sucks to hear this stuff day-in and day-out, but the mainstream media wants us all to know that the economy sucks and we need to elect Hillary to save us all. Hence the continual drumbeat of bad news we've been seeing for 2 years now. |

How do you figure? Rather than worrying about who is #1, they need to worry about all of the quality failures that are rearing their ugly heads. Striving to be the biggest is what got them in this hoopla. Remember, bigger is not necessarily better. Reference - big fat women. |

Not a bad post. Off topic – McCain gets elected. Obama-momma is too busy expressing “change” and ducking from his idiot of a pastor. Further, that hot babe Hillary has more baggage than a French whore. Meanwhile, operation chaos is sparking gang green in the heart of the demoquacks. I will pleasantly sit back and watch. |

LIKE YOUR MOM??
look, all manufacturers are feeling the crunch. The fact is that Toyota remains in the best shape. They have $ to burn. I must suck to be Ford and GM in this flat economy. they are skin and bones as it is... |

I've heard it all- A redneck bragging about his crown victoria. These mullet heads are too much.
The funny thing is that a "sludge filled" toyota still has better reliability and resale value than a proffesional grade crown victoria. I love this site. Thanks for all the laughs. |

Easy comparison, Toyota makes $3 BILLION in profit per quarter while GM posts $3 BILLION in losses per quarter.
I'd say Toyota has the automotive industry figured out while GM struggles to find its identity and always claims a "one time" writeoff on its earnings, LOL |

More senseless nonsense.
Get it while it’s hot because just as history dictates, things will turn around. You sure are a bitter drag. Do you live your life like this? |
Sorry to bring you down, but it brings me down to read the headlines.... So many retirees depend upon GM to succeed yet somehow they keep lame duck management running the company destroying shareholder value. |
