Yes, China has already made their statement of what is to happen in the near future. Ma Barra pushes back with a motherly guilt trip about how "the people" are the ones to decide when electric cars should be "mainstream". Yeah, right, GMs masters in China have spoken, now we should see what the "public wants" by 2023.

More and more manufacturers are announcing their move to electric/hybrid. All the jacked up diesel pickup owners can complain all they want. You can lead or get out of the way. The electric revolution is here.

I do love my '17 Volt, but am I a 4 door hatchback guy? No! I would prefer a 2 door coupe sort of car, maybe a plug in hybrid Monte Carlo?(I do own a 1999 Monte that I am about to sell).

"Glass Pilot from Kitty Hawk"?
Don't think so.(ISP spoofing isn't kosher my man) Furthermore it's a fact you've got no knowledge of a 5 tube EFIS. "Glass Pilot" indeed. Stick with your VFR limits.

"Jacked up diesel owners"?
Tell us about all these "jacked up diesel owners" you put down so exclusively.

"Electric revolution is here?
Where have you been for the past 10 years? Nothing new--it started quite a while ago.

Comment:
No doubt EVs are well established and will continue growing considerably going forward--and that's great.
But IC engines arent gonna go away. Heavy trucks, Farm equipment, industrial engines, etc will stay in that game for a long time.(Or until battery technology gets much lighter than today's offerings.
So posting elitist half baked brags about electrics ruling the world is a tad premature.

Absolutely agree. Well said.
It's another Glass Pilot trolling exercise using IP Spoofing trickery.

Mr Briggs and Stratton, er, Tecumseh, you're quite the troll. Why don't you go back to your Ford F450 Topix board?

Believe it or not I do live in Kitty Hawk, NC. No "spoofing" for me.

Yes I dis many pickup owners who don't own them because they need them for work, they own them because Daddy gave them one when they graduated from HS! And they go down the road "rolling coal" like it's something smart to do.

And, Mr BS, the electric revolution is well underway, but the momentum is more and more manufacturers are getting on the band wagon. In a few years you'll see pickup hybrids/electric.

FYI my arrogant friend, I've owned a Pickup as a 2nd vehicle since 1967--GM every time, and new every 2 years. I'm also an Aircraft Owner (AOPA), and Pilot since 1980. Cessna 210 Centurion (With a 5 Tube EFIS--which you obviously know nothing about!)
And I don't frequent an F450 board, nor do I use a "Briggs and Stratton" handle. Nor do I use phony ISPs like you often do.
I don't doubt for one minute that electric vehicles will be the norm going forward, but I'll continue to own a Pickup regardless of their power source. I like Pickups, and I make good use of them. Something wrong with that?
What I do know is that you are a small brained big mouth who apparently has nothing better to do than rudely diss anybody who you differ with, and you consistently boast about being a pilot when the closest you've ever been to an aircraft is probably a washroom in a gas station at a nearby airport.
