Woman charged for driving into house with toddler in car

A female motorist who was upset after a family fight drove into a South Deering neighborhood residence with a toddler in the vehicle on the South Side Wednesday afternoon and has been charged with child endangerment and assault, police said.

What a great thread! The second paragraph is a summary of the story and the ultimate reason for her arrest, driving into the townhome. She was in the car, as the driver, when a second party broke the windows prompting her to back away and hit a pole, She later returned, driving the car into the home. She rammed the house once. The second paragraph is called a summary introduction, taught in elementary journalism classes. As I started,comprehension is the key to intelligent reading.

I wasn't aware that a degree in journalism was required to read the Chicago Sun-Times.
As long as we're being smug about ourselves, if you mean to type "As I stated....", then perhaps you should type exactly that, not "As I started....".
