Oh boy, Pete. Those commies have really been busy in your indoctrination class, haven't they?
Did you know that California ranks 8th best of all the states that give federal money than receive from the fed?...
Michigan is 14th. Truth hurts....
Is that supposed to mean something...

We don't know..

Michigan isn't bankrupt at all..

But Cali is just as bankrupt as Detroit is.

Too Funny.

I made love to a pig today and it plugged me in the prius. This is one reason I'm buying a Volt.

You see pete. Your comrade, commie handlers are feeding you junk. California has had a surplus for two years straight. We are far from being broke. There are more states that owe more per person than we do.

But getting back to your state. Not only does your state receive more money from big gov. than California, it only contributes about 1/6 the amount of funds to run this country that California does.

Now, you may think that sounds fair because CA has more people, but we have less than 4 times your population. In other words, you aren't paying as much towards the running of this country as we are. So, not only do we not get the money from big gov. that you do, we give more than you do. Probably so your state can exist.

Each California resident contributes 22% more towards this country's defense than you and MI residents do.

So who is more American? I know this hurts. I know that you hate to think that we Californians pull our weight around here. But we do. Much more than you.

Those are called facts, petey. Don't you just hate that?

And another thing, petey. California has regained all the jobs it lost in the recession. MI hasn't. California's unemployment rate is less than Michigan.

You need to keep up, commie. Your communistic diatribe is old hat and out of touch.

Sorry to let you know your state is worse off than mine. You should search before you post.

Even with the great savings Volt owners claim they get, those misers are still too cheap to drive much. Volts are a lot of money for a local grocery getter. Just wait until those cheapskates start paying for expensive repairs on those contraptions; Volt owners will be having nervous breakdown and be on suicide watch. Volts will be Rube Goldberg museum items soon; wait for it. Too funny!

Another weekend, and no Volt sightings. It's only a matter of time before Gubamint Motors pulls the plug on that loser.

Speaking of recalls. Most folks don't know that most recalls are not bad things. Most go under the radar because they are just upgrades.

For instance. I recently got an email that my Volt was due for it's 20,000 mile check up. All free.

I called them and told them that I was at 17,000 miles and that I would come in at 20,000.

They told me that there is a recall for an upgrade for the power inverter software. It wasn't necessary, but it would make the car a little more efficient. They said that I could wait until the next upgrade if I wanted to just skip this one. I asked how long they would have my car. 1 hour was the answer. All they had to do was hook up the computer to my car, delete the old program and install the new program.

In one hour, they upgraded the software, checked the main battery coolant level, brought my tires up to 38 lbs., washed the car and cleaned the inside. So, I did my 20,000 mile check up early.

For all of the California haters.

California produces more cash crops than any other state. Double the number two state, Texas. California produces $32 billion worth of food per year. 13% of the nations food. Iowa is number 3.

http://www.stuffaboutstates.com/agriculture/

We are considered a socialistic state by most others because ... they hate California. Here is socialism.

Texas received $27.3 billion in total farm subsidies from 1995 to 2012.
http://farm.ewg.org/region.php...

Number three Iowa received $24.9 billion in the same time period.
http://farm.ewg.org/region.php...

Socialist, communistic California received .....$10.3 billion. 91% of all California farms received absolutely no subsidies in that 17 year period.
http://farm.ewg.org/region.php...

Texas ranks # 1 in receiving subsidies. Iowa is # 2. California is # 10. However, in terms of money's received compared to crops produced, California received less than most states. For instance, Indiana is ranked # 11 in receiving subsidies. Indiana and California received about the same amount in subsidies. Yet, Indiana produced $6 billion in cash crops compared to California's $32 billion.

HOWEVER. In 2012, California was ranked 15th. Meaning, we are taking less and less and producing more and more. The other states, meanwhile, stayed the same. California dropped it's percentage of the total of subsidies from 3.5% to 2.3%. The other states remained the same. So, California receives 2.3% of the subsidies while producing 13.2% of the food.

http://farm.ewg.org/progdetail.php...

Next up is the amount of $$$ California contributes to the defense of this country.
