<quoted text>Its been said the lithium ion batteries like the one in the Volt will last past the lifetime of the car and outlast the biggest of dogs. I think we should call the volt mans best friend.

Lithium Ion batteries (such as used by all the EVís) are so great, because they require sophisticated cooling systems and robust steel protection to keep the driver safe and the battery lasts for years and years. Don't let anybody tell you otherwise. I love dogs and you.

Lithium Ion battery technology is foolproof.
Today's EV batteries are without any doubt, the best thing going for EV vehicles.
That strength will be even better when Fuel Cell powered vehicles come on line.
Those interested in "green" vehicles would be wise to continue driving a Volt or Prius ev.
By 2015, today's technology will be even better.
Even the Grandstander knows that.
So does JJFADS and all his pseudo posters. I love you.

A chap I met the other day who owns a Volt told me about a trip he made from here (SW Ontario) to his winter home in Florida--with his Volt.
This is a round trip of about 2400 miles.
His comments were this...
"My Volt is a good "around town" car, but I'll never take it to Florida again."
His fuel economy was no better than a normal economy car, and he was constantly worried about battery charging.
Volt may be a decent commuter car, but it certainly isn't the right choice for travelling.

Curiously, the numbers he uses keep changing.
His methodology is akin to a sleazy ponzi scheme.
Speaking of sleazy, whaddya think of the Shreveport Chameleon's latest fiasco?
Personally, I think we're all being conned by only a couple of pro Volt shills.
Too many games being played here now.
The numbers he uses are accurate.
Iíve looked at it a hundred different ways and the Volt saves money.

No games being played here by me.

I think there needs to be a complaint to Topix about one of their administrators abusing his position.
This JJFADS fella has been getting away with it for too long.

If you're so "honest", then why do you have to resort to such sleazy and juvenile tactics?
You seem to have scraped the bottom of the barrel by playing these juvenile games.

This is a great time to start a fund for Asian/Canadian dog eaters. We should donate stray dogs for poor Canadians and deliver them in a fleet of Volts to save money and the environment. This will provide a much needed food source and they can use the carcass fur to make comfortable clothing for the coming winter months.

Here in the US the pollution has killed off thousands--people, wildlife, fish. People here are starving and sick from polluted crops and animals. It is impossible to grow food on sewage contaminated land. This is why our citizens are dying from disease, are morbidly obese, and poor. Our State Governments are so corrupt that we have a failed economy and oppressive debt. The Federal Government is so incompetent that they have allowed the entire governmental process to shut the country down.
We all want to become Canadians, because things are so much better there.
Please Canada, help us out.

And they could sharpen the rib bones and use them as a tool to protect the igloo women. The fuel saved by using Volts could then be used for fire.

Well, if you're one of the many in the US who want to move here because things are better, we can provide you with any size igloo you want.
And we'll toss in a few bones to get you started.

Just don't bring any of those syphiliptic women with you.
And be sure to get an Aids blood test yourself.
We hear there's a lot of that in your country.
Oh yes, leave your drugs at home as well.
