Isn't Hungday the company that got busted for not telling the truth about their gas mileage?

That's very true...

let's speak facts here as the obamamobile is a good example of this...

fact #1- a $45k golf cart that gets 30 mpg on high test gasoline...

fact #2- and catches on fire while setting in the garage...

plugged in or not.

fact #3- exists only on Tax Payer Bailout...

fact #4- for the only purpose of saving existing union jobs.

You just got to love a man that goes by the name of what he likes to suck making fun of any name. By the way, little rooty fruty, how many Elantras have caught on fire in a garage. As far as the mileage thing with Hyundai goes they admit to same and give rebates to any owner of a Hyundai that was purchased new.

Volt, no matter how much these little idiots hype it, it has been a failure in the market place because it is little more than a big golf cart with about the same electric range.

I love my Hyundai, I also love my Mazda 5 and I really love my fully restored 1961 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite which I will drive to West Virginia this weekend for the Sports Car races.

I presume this is a way to make a statement against POTUS. However, the strongest arguments are based on facts. It's easy to get away with this, easier every day, in an America whose time spent eating bread and watching circuses increases daily. It’s nothing more than a continuation of what they've been doing for years and years, i.e. pandering to the least-educated and most easily-aroused segments of our society. They are trying to poison the waters around GM and Chrysler.
Volt is a technological tour de force and they hate it.
They are just Dolt and Pete changing names. They think they will make it look like there are more haters on this thread than there really are.

Pete has still only said 5 things while posting 340 times.

Silent Echo (The Dolter) has already been taught that the brake pads for the Volt don't stop the car until 3 mph. I'm not going to explain it to you again. Since you are so smart, and you know all about the Volt, you already know what regenerative braking is. Or do you? No brake pads until 3 mph dude.

He must have forgotten what regenerative braking is. Hey Echo (Dolt), here is the video again of a full sized electric city bus that will not have to have it's brakes changed for at least 100,000 miles and probably more like 250,000 miles. Once again, Dolt, go to 15:05. That's where they talk about the brakes. Brake pads don't stop electric cars until 3 mph, "D-O-L-T"

As for comparing the Elantra to the Volt .... you've already been spanked on this Dolt.

Again, here are the figures: See the link below for a $38,645, 2013 Volt.

Hyundia Elantra GT (tin can)$18,545
My Volt $31,800
Difference -$13,255

Gas for Elantra -$1,500 per year =$7,500 in 5 years.
Total cost in 5 years =$26,045

Cost of Volt minus $7,500 for money that is put in my stock account instead of a gas tank
$24,300.

After 5 years, the Elantra costs $2,000 more than my Volt.

I guess you forgot about tax credits (my tax credits).

I don't know a single Volt owner that ever paid full price for a Volt. Not one. In CA, it is $9,000 off after credits. That's without a sales deal, which I made. My son bought his Volt for $27,000 after credits.

173,000,000 electric miles driven ....$36,000,000 saved on gas ... oh ... and by the way ... look at the MSRP, Dolt. That car is cheaper than mine. This is for $31,645. Is it clicking in?

http://www.chevrolet.com/volt-electric-car.ht...

And Dolt, now you say that the Volt only gets 24 miles per charge. Sheeeesh ... you are becoming a bigger and bigger liar every time you change your name.

I'm not even going to post those videos again. I know you saw them. One guy got 71 miles on a charge. I got 50, 4 different times. So .... just go back to page 170, comment # 3524 for all the links of guys getting much more than 40 miles on a charge. But you won't. You can't stand getting that arss of yours spanked.

Hey Dolt, 19 months. 6 gallons of gas purchased. Awwwww ..... is that your wallet I hear moaning? You burn more gas in 1 week than I have in 19 months. Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk, nyuk.

I had a really good laugh though. Now Pete is even voting himself 13 times!!!! Good one Pete. People like you don't keep up with the crowd, but you do make up for it with unintentional funny stuff.

Even the Kiplinger investment group says you're wrong. Geez Dolt, you change your name so you can start all the stupid arguments all over again, pretending that you didn't get spanked before. From the link:

"Perhaps the biggest surprise is that although the Volt and Leaf have stratospheric sticker prices -- nearly double those of the gas-engine Chevrolet Cruze LTZ and Nissan Versa S hatchback -- both have pretty low five-year ownership costs. The Volt’s costs come within $1,600 of the Cruze’s and the Leaf is only $800 more than the Versa over five years.(Run your own comparisons of these models and many more.)"

http://www.kiplinger.com/article/cars/T009-C0...

Sorry Dolt, your Elantra is a tin can. It drives like a tin can. It weighs as much as a tin can. It has all the features of a tin can. And it costs more than my Volt after 5 years.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHA.

Once again Dolt, this is my video. You claim I only get 24 miles to a charge.

I drove 27 miles and still had 23 miles left on my charge. That is just a weeeeeeee bit better than your whopper of a lie.

Not even a good try Dolt. You should know that if you want people to believe your lies, you need to make them believable. Get it?

Unlike your lies, Volt owners have been pasting their awesome ranges on YouTube for a long time.

Again, just go back to page 170, comment # 3524.

19 months .... 6 gallons of gas purchased. No wait!!! I forgot!!! I had to buy 2 gallons the other day. Sorry Dolt. 19 months ... 8 gallons of gas purchased. Less than you use in 1 week in your Elantra!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

These idiots are not to be believed, I show current verifiable dealer prices for both new and used units at Rick Hendrick Chevy in Norfolk, Va. and they keep up their emotional rants of "It just aint so, Joe, just say it is not so". I quote actual figures obtained by Green Car Magazine on their road test and the minions just ring their hands and say, "It just aint so, Joe, just say it is not so" OK, I guess these little idiots know the MSRP better than Rick Hendrick Chevy and they know the electric mileage range better than the actual extensive road test done by Green Car Magazine. Attempting to have a rational factual based discussion with these idiots is like attempting to explain the color of blue to a life long blind person. Then you just got to have a big laugh when one of the idiots say "You can not compare the volt to the econo box Elantra", this is the biggest joke of all because the volt is the not so successful twin on the econo box cruz. T JJFuds, I would not compare the volt to a motorcycle, more like a golf cart on steroids.
Sorry Dolt:$31,685 MSRP

http://www.chevrolet.com/volt-electric-car.ht...

And sorry Dolt, the Volt was driven for 600 miles by mpgomatic and they got 40 miles electric and 43 mpg gas.

And Dolt, this is from the original Volt haters group, Fox News. Sorry Dolt, the Volt is outselling the Prius after it's first 2 years of sales.

http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2012/01/05/che...

Once again Dolt, to compare a car that has only been on the market a little over two years is the epitome of stupidity. Did you become even stupider after changing your profile?

Do you need any more lessons on the awesome Volt?

Ah Dolt, you need to come out of the closet and quit calling yourself silent echo ... cuz you sure ain't silent.

Sorry Pete. I drove 60 miles on the freeway with my AC on, 65 mph. I got 38 miles. Ahhhhhh .... does that hurt your little feelings?
I already spanked you with this, but here we go again. This guy drove in the desert, up a 900 foot climb, with the AC on at 75 - 80 mph, for 123 miles. Almost all on gas. He averaged 44 mpg. Even if the Volt didn't have an electric battery, it would kick ars on your gas car. But it does have an electric battery & motor.

From the article.

"Once on freeway I initially set the cruise control at 70 mph. Just before Palmdale, I ran the car in mountain mode, increasing the speed of the IC engine to add extra charge in the battery before the climb into the mountains. I switched mountain mode off at the base of the hills, and then ran with the traffic -- 75-80 mph -- pretty much all the way back home to L.A. I used 2.8 gallons of gas for the 123.2 mile trip -- an average of 44 mpg."

Did you read that Pete? 2.8 gallons for a 123 mile trip. 900 feet uphill. AC on full. 77 mph average.

His next trip got him 34 miles electric. But remember, he drives at 77 mph with the AC on. If he slowed it down to 65, like me, he would get 37 - 38 electric on the freeway also, AC and all!!! Sorry Pete. Even Wifey doesn't believe you.

Like I just told Dolt. If you want people to believe your lies, you need to make them believable.

Even Sixto is a flaming liberal compared to you. Sixto rocks, Pete sucks.

Here you go Dolt. This is the 5 year, cost to own comparison between the Volt and the Elantra. This is another way of looking at the price of a car.

Without the credit factored in. This is the Volt

http://autos.yahoo.com/chevrolet/volt/2013/ba...

This is the Elantra

http://autos.yahoo.com/hyundai/elantra/2013/l...

Now ... and I know you hate to do this ... factor in the credit, and I am $2,000 ahead of you.

The 2013's will be $3,500 ahead of you as they get the additional CA credit of $1,500.

Kiplinger, yahoo autos, they all disagree with you Dolt. You elantra is an expensive tin can.

3800 lbs compared to 2700 lbs. Tin can!
