My present leaf is just fine thanks.
Got me this far very nicely in life, thanks.
I'm just having a little fun with Mr. Root.
I think he's in the grips of a mid life crisis.

Just a few facts on the Volt..

VOLTEC battery technology dates back to the 90’s derived from the EV1
GM’s Volt concept is released at the 07 auto show.
June 08 – GM’s BOD approves the Volt well before BR and infusion of government funds.

Also, A bit of research shows that the $7,500 tax credit was first put into law in the 2007-2008 Congress with the Energy Improvement and Extension Act of 2008, well before there was an Obama Administration.

Volt is an astonishing car and should’ve never been attacked by politically motivated foes.

A little overstated, but I don't have a big problem with it.

No Dolt, there has never been a car that has earned as many rewards or garnered the amount of attention the Volt has in such a short time. It is the epitome of revolutionary.

That’s actually kind of cool. Clean rims are a great thing.

Yeah--I use a Simonize product on mine.
Works great.
Gets all that brake pad dust off.

Now, now Root.
You're obviously trying to antagonize that fellow.
No wonder people get on your case.
Ease up on the superlatives.

Or the Dolt guy.
Or that other dude who goes at you.
I've seen lots of people take shots at you.

A Volt pep rally, you really need to get a life. Of all the cars I've owned I don't recall ever hanging out at the dealer; did they have a band and cheerleaders.
Now all at once raise your right hand and repeat over and over: I Love My Volt I Love My Volt I Love My Volt I Love My Volt I Love My Volt I Love My Volt ..........
Right on dude!!! Glad you liked the video.

<quoted text>So far we're in the 800 mile club. Now if I could just get the kids to stop hanging out in it!
I had the warning, "your gas is old and may go stale" come on my screen and I didn't have the time to snap a pic so I could put it on YT. It actually started burning off my gas and I only had 1.5 gals. left. Luckily, I had 43 miles on my charge.

I had that gas in my tank for 8 months, but it was only 1.5 gallons, so I think the computer figured that one out.

Happy motoring.

Mr. Volt Hater hater doesn't respond to the hater any more. He's just a hater.

Proof. He said that he is just trying to be fair and balanced. But he want one bad Volt post for every good Volt post.

The real world. 93% of all Volt owners love their cars so much that they will absolutely buy one again. Another 4% said they like the car a lot and will think about it. That's 97% in favor. So ...

Shouldn't we have 97 good posts to 3 bad posts?

Not if you're a hater.

My rims are still clean .... after 10,800 miles. Cuz the brake pads stop the car only about 3% of the time.

And you're right, it is a wonder. The gas pedal is fly by wire. The shifter is fly by wire, the "gas" pedal is fly by wire.

Amazing car.
