Protectionist policies in the automotive sector aren't exclusive to Japan.
Accusing Japan of excess in that regard is mere speculation.
Perhaps motivated by envy.

You are wrong. Japan is well known for its excessive protectionist policies.

So is China, S Korea, United States, Canada, Germany, France,.........the list goes on.
Protectionism is systemic throughout the world in many sectors of various country economies.
Japan is not an exception.
You do tend to overstate some situations.
And overlook others.
Try to be more consistent.

Defending Toyota's Peeus?
Defending truth is more like it.
Speaking out when others take liberties with reality is my thing.
Especial when others overstate some things and understate others.
That happens a lot here.

I treated that fellow no different than any other.
He's not entirely above reproach either
I don't agree with what he does and how he does it, but he certainly does post a lot of information..
Say what you want about me, but at least I'm consistent.

Oh come on. Are you telling me you’re not a closet toyota apologist? A seagull in oriental clothing>?

Obviously, regardless of how I respond to that question, your will believe only what you choose to believe.
Even if I was what you believe me to be, what's wrong with it.?
Is liking a particular company or product a criminal offence?

No but dressing the part is appropriate. If you wish to dress as a seagull but then sport oriental garb, that is wrong. That would be like the Kenyan saying he supports all the people.

Please elaborate.
Talking in metaphors doesn't make sense.
What exactly are you attempting to say.

You come across as pro American car but do other things that don’t support your words. Wolf in sheep’s clothing, seagull in oriental garb.

Whatever you believe is whatever you believe.
Think what you will.
But you just might be wrong. in fact you are wrong.
You shouldn't make those kinds of judgements about someone you don't know, nor don't know anything about.
Especially over what you see on these forums.

I thought seagull in oriental garb was a rather polite way of putting it. You mean well but end up shi##ing all over everything.

Root, you are truely twisted sicko, hopefully the local authorities have you on the Sex Offender Registry and are keeping you away from women, children, and livestock.

Yes, I mean well.
And if speaking my mind is what you call sh---ing all over everything, that's wrong.
Yours is not to judge.
Your frequent rushes to judgement don't stand you in good stead.

My son pays $0.70 for a full charge at home (PG&E E9a rates). He then charges for free at work.

He uses .2 gallons of gas for the entire trip. 80 miles total. Total cost $1.50.

Very cool.
