Honda CR-Z -- a successor to the much-loved two-seater CRX.

Honda CR-Z -- Honda fans have been waiting since 1991 for a successor to the much-loved two-seater CRX. They'll finally have it when this car goes on sale in about 18 months. Like the old CRX, the CR-Z is a stubby, two-seat commuter car.
The CR-Z has a wedgy stance and will likely be the platform that Honda uses to launch its next generation of hybrid powertrains. That would make perfect sense, because one version of the old CRX, the HF, delivered an EPA rating of 51 mpg city and 60 highway.

And im sure the new one will get a miserable high-30's mpg as all remakes do nowadays.

The concept CR-Z is very interesting. Hopefully the mileage will meet or exceed the old CRX HF's. I hope the CR-Z wonn't suffer from obesity like so many modern cars do.

The CRX may have gotten high gas mileage but I'm sure people won't use it for it's gas mileage. They will probably just "rice it out", you know make the 'spoiler' heavier and larger than the car itself, paint it in hideous colors, etc. CRX was a real ricer alright.

They should offer a 'Hello Kitty' package on it, since alot of the CRX buyers would like that.
