Anyway, like I was saying my car gets about 23-24 mpg in town and about 26-30 mpg on the highway and I've done a few things to the exhaust and some other stuff...So I think the cobalt can still get really good gas mileage even when some bolt ons. Now if you were to put higher flow injectors that would definetely take the mpg down but otherwise, you can actually have a get up and go car with the cobalt and still get pretty good gas mileage.

well while the models that i have cant be purchased, they still use alotof the same equipment on the cars such as the 3800 engine. even though its a new version its still going to be just as reliable. I actually believe that also up until a few years back you could still buy a 3100 series engine. SO what i guess i am saying is that if they were reliable then and then they still use some of the same systems now they must be somwhat better if they are takin care of instead of beatin.

Well, taking care of the car and proper maintenance is very important. Realistically speaking by today’s standards, that should be all one needs to do regardless of make.

I make sure I do all the maintenance on my car and them some so my engine purrs for years to come. I guess I got that from my mom cuz if my car makes a weird noise at all I get it checked. I guess I'm a little anal but I want to make sure that if anything is wrong I get it fixed as soon as possible.
