The safety recall applies only to certain Toyota models in Japan.
Only 2 Lexus models are affected in USA.
Unless he lives in Japan, the recall doesn't apply to him.

Yeah, but he (a pseudonym no doubt) claims his is a Toyota.
Not a Lexus.
Try as hard as you want, but it won't work.
It's just a shill.
Playing your game.

Just keeping this dialog honest.
Some folks have trouble dealing with that.

Posters who don't agree with him "make" him lose control and have temper tantrums.
Like I said, I'm just trying to keep things honest.
But some folks don't handle that very well.

Honest dialogue, so does this mean you admit toyota is lexus?

I don't deny Lexus is a Toyota subsidiary.
Never did.
The real dishonesty issue here is an anonymous post with no verification which appeared out of the blue, and was obviously phoney.
Then further dishonesty follows with more phoney support for the original phoney post.
"The Devil Made Me Do It" syndrome at work.

I'm sure there are many people here in the USA that had no idea their lesus is under recall for leaking gasoline.

Post 858.
Another example of frivolous, vexatious, and just plain silly conduct.
He blames others for "making him do it!!"

Oh don't be silly. I would be willing to bet there are tons of people that had no idea. What's so wrong with that statement? Do you actually thing people follow this suff? You need to lighten up a bit old boy.

Your concern is touching. Are you going to contact all of them to make sure they know?

Post 860.
Another frivolous, vexatious, silly, and deliberately demeaning effort.
And he always blames others for "Making him do it!!!"
Go figure.

He prefers to indulge his fantasies of doing something righteous (more like impulsive sh-t disturbing).
And justifies it by blaming others for "making him do it".
Disgraceful and childish.

Posed with a reasonable question and you fail to answer it again. If you think people are really in touch with recalls I have some water front property to sell you.

Thanks anyway for the offer.(even though it was just another condescending silly post).....
We already own three waterfront properties.
Big Hawk lake in the Haliburton Highlands; lake St. Clair in Tecumseh; and Banderas Bay in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Those will do us just fine for now, thanks.

And right now, my lovely wife and I are sitting on the deck looking out at a couple of Loons swimming in Big Hawk Lake.
Pretty soon it will be Miller Time.
Weather here today is nicely warm, with a few clouds and bright sun.
Life is good.

Life is good here as well, but you still failed to answer the question about consumers’ knowledge of recalls. I’m not surprised.

Did your wife shave her crotch? Don’t want any pubic hair getting into the drinks. lol

To the individual that wanted information about the toyota recall. The best advice I can give you is to just go to the local toyota/lexus dealer and ask them to check out your car.

Post 867...not an uncommon response by this author.

He posts a vile and filthy comment, and then claims it's because others "Make him do it"

Bizarre.
