Ask GM that question. Don't be silly.

GM's not number one just now.
GM has just recovered from bankruptcy.
That's pretty close to sad, isn't it?

I think it’s funny. Again, ask GM that question.

No point in asking questions when the answer has already been published.

We're trying to have a conversation and yet again you try to change it. If you have nothing of relevance to say, why bother? Now again, you made a statement and I suggested you ask GM that same question. You fail to address that or apply critical thought. Troll much?

The statement I made speaks for itself.
Success speaks far more loudly than your attempt to deflect it.

No, it doesn't reference GM and toyota's lies.

They both lie.
So do all the other automakers.

You fail to address toyota, why?

I said they all lie.
That statement means "all".
Toyota is part of "all".

All automakers lie, and continue to do so.
Fact of life.

Dishonesty is rampant throughout the automotive business.
Anyone believing otherwise is blind to reality.
If anything, those in the business are simply getting better at hiding the truth.
Automakers use blatantly deceptive advertising routinely.
As a supplier to several auto manufacturing firms, my people are routinely asked for kickbacks by their contacts in these firms. This is a common practice throughout the industry.
Automobile dealers and their sales people are consistently at the top of the list of least trusted by consumers, primarily because of their sleazy and manipulative tactics.
Deceptive pricing and hidden charges exist at all levels of the business, from the factory thru to final sales transactions.
Lobbying by automakers is one of the largest and busiest practices in Washington and other free market countries.
Automakers routinely employ sophisticated tax avoidance strategies such as offshore shell subsidiaries and LLCs, which shelter them from taxes they would ordinarily have to pay in their home country.
The list is endless.
Lying is pervasive.

I happen to respect this industry and think your assessment could be applied to many industries. Could you give me an example of one of the latest lies you suggest exist in current automobile manufacturing advertising?
