Regardless of anything, YOU DON"T HAVE THE RIGHT TO SHOOT AN UNARMED MAN! I don't care what he does, and both officers should be fired for shooting at him.

In this case, how can we base a decision on what a reporter says? So many did the same in the Martin killing only to find later that much of what they heard from the media was wrong. In a situation such as this one thing is very important to remember, that being one should always comply with law enforcement direction when in situations such as these. If they say hands up you had better be reaching for the sky. Why chance it?

Now as for the killing comment I have to disagree. If a hoodlum comes into my home unannounced they will be shot dead on the spot, no questions asked. I have no problem with such action.

The victim wasn't invading a home, he was in his own driveway! Granted, the victim should have obeyed the police, but that's no reason for the police to shoot an unarmed man either. But he also might have not heard the police. Maybe at his age he uses hearing aids. I agree we could use more information.

I was using the home invasion as an example of justifiable killing.
