Like all Mazdas, Mazda3 is a throwaway car at about 110,000 miles. Skyactiv and/or automatic trans shits out, Mazda dealer says $4,000 to $6,000 to repair, then the car is scrapped. I've seen it with friends who bought their first and only Mazda. They have to learn the hard way.
