Before I left South Africa I had prearranged the deal with eBay Motors so my presence in South Africa isn't necessary. The car is in their possession in South Africa, ready for delivery. You will have 10 days to test drive and inspect the car. So if you want to make this deal I need the following information:
your full name and address
shipping address(street,city,zip code)
phone #
Then I will forward them to eBay Motors and I will proceed the order. eBay will contact you with all the details that you need to complete this deal and also to see that i am covered by them and that I am legit seller.
Here is how this deal will work:
1. I will forward the details of our transaction to the eBay Buyer Protection .
2. They will process the paperwork and will email you the Payment Invoice and the transaction details.
3. You will have to submit the deposit(50% from the total amount so you can prove that you are a serious buyer), as instructed to one of the eBay agents.
4. The payment will be verified and if everything is OK, eBay will deliver the vehicle to your address on my own cost. The vehicle will be shipped insured to your location with DAS ( Dependable Auto Shippers www.dasautoshippers.com ).
5. After you receive it, you will have 10 days to inspect and test drive the vehicle (You will receive the car in 2 days).
6. If you accept the vehicle by confirming to eBay, they will release me the money (if not you will receive the full refund of the amount sent before shipping). They will then FedEx overnight the signed title to you and all the car documents that you need to register it under your name. If you decide to NOT accept the vehicle for any reason, they will refund your full payment price within 48 hours. They will then make the necessary arrangement to have the vehicle picked back up by the transport company.
SO WATCH OUT FOR SCAMS!!

I am so glad I did a little research something in my stomach wasn't sitting right with me. God told me to google and lo and behold I find this. This same people are trying to sell me 2003 Toyota Camry LE .... Gave me this story...
"Hi, first of all I want to thank you for your interest in my 2003 Toyota Camry LE.
I sell it at this price $ 1,500, because I just finished the divorce, and I am very glad that I took the car, because it was my ex husbands most precious thing.
I don't ask to much for the car because I just want to get rid of it ASAP, since the bastard cheated on me in this car.
Just want to erase a bad memory and I should get rid of it. The car is in Columbia,MO because I live here right now. It has only 49210 miles.
As you can see from the pictures it is in excellent condition. It has many extras including automatic transmission, a/c, cruise control, am/fm, trunk liner, spare is brand new, all manuals are included,2 keys. I had the oil changed about 2 weeks ago. This Camry runs as good as a new one and has no dings, dents, or scratches.
The car is paid off, clean title, I have the title in hand. The divorce finished 6 months ago and the car is mine now.
After the divorce I was forced to buy a new house. From the beginning you have to know that for the payment I request only secure pay.
I prefer the payment to be done using....eBay....services (I will receive the payment only after you receive and inspect the car and only if you agree to buy it).
I will pay for shipping and handling (my ex buyer did not received his loan buy he already paid for shipping ) so there won't be any additional shipping costs for you.
If you are interested in buying it please email me your FULL NAME and SHIPPING ADDRESS so i can get the ball rolling.
I will wait your answer (if you are interested to buy) very soon.

Hi,
The SUV is in perfect condition, no electric problems, no accidents/liens/loans. No scratches, never been repainted. I have all the SUV manuals, title, documents. I'm selling this SUV because my child of only 25 died 4 months ago in a car accident,a drunk driver hit him and his fiancee. We hope to hear soon from you.

Hey, guess what.. it seems like that scam has hit Europe!
I'm from Portugal, and I found a great deal on a motorcycle (Triumph Tiger 800xc) from Spain.
Tried to call the phone number they gave, but it didn't exist... Well, as most of you said, it was too good to be true (they were asking for 3980€ when all the other sellers in the same conditions were asking from 8000€ to 9000€), so I thought it would be stupid to just give up on the phone number. Went ahead and sent them an email...
They replied whit a similar story... just that it wasn't his son's, it was from his late brother in law.
Yet the same BS!
What caught my attention was that they said that they would use DAS Auto Shippers to deliver the motorcycle, and I did some research... It seems that this company only works to or from the US... Bearing in mind that the deal had nothing to do with the US, it just didn't add up!
After searching the internet for a while, I found your stories...
So thanks a lot for sharing them!!!
I haven't received the second email you mentioned, however they have only sent the first one this morning so... I guess it won't be long now!
Again, thanks a lot for sharing!
I'll post another comment when I receive that second email...

It breaks my heart to see that it was all but a con... but then again, I guess it's better to have a broken heart than a broken wallet!

Well, guess what they got now, an add on craigslist now.
pontoon boat -$2700 (minneapolis) I got this email from Texas, a long way from Minneapolis.

Thank you for contacting me regarding my 2006 Pontoon Boat Sweetwater 2386.
is my personal boat and not a repo. The boat will come with trailer, all papers and receipts
that you need to register it on your name, title is clear and already back signed.
It has been stored in an enclosed storage unit and routinely maintained. She has a 2006 Yamaha 90 hp outboard engine 4 stroke, 124 hours that has a ton of power.
Perfect for a family, great shape, length is 23 feet. This boat comes with a fish finder all set up, am/FM CD player.
My wife was recently promoted so we had to move to Houston TX. Besides, there are a lot of things
which have priority now, so this boat has to go. As you probably noticed, the price is rather low $2,700 due to
the fact that I'm very busy with my work and I don't stay too much at home, the boat and trailer are already at the shipping
company here in Houston and will be delivered with "express delivery", shipping costs are included in price. The transaction will
be made under Google Checkout buyer protection plan. This way we can receive assistance for purchase, title transfer, etc.

So, please reply back with your full name, shipping address and cell phone number if you are really interested
in purchasing this boat so we can start the arrangements!
