Most people who don't like jap cars have never owned one. That's okay, cause you knuckle-dragging, mouth breathing booger-eating morons don't know what you're missing. Better build quality, better horsepower/cu. in., better fuel economy, etc. Just keep drinking the GM kool-aid. Ha ha!

I'd rather have Jap than another piece of american crap! Face it, the big three have succeeded in alienating themselves with over priced bloated overweight ugly cars again! Seen it before. It looks as if they've assigned the design of new cars to the juvenile delinquents of the engineering world. One look at the chrysler station wagons or the fugly neon will bear this out!

You should buy whatever car you like. Why do you worry about what another person buys?

I don't care what others think of my whip. I'm just fascinated by the attitude towards Japanese goods, and the seeming acceptance of other foreign brands, such as Ferrari (connected to Musolini), Mercedes, Volkswagen, Porsche, & BMW all connected to Hitler. Why the singling out of one brand name in the entire world compilation of automobiles? Can anyone explain?

Beats Me!
Must make sense only to those who choose to do so.
Definitely a small minority.

It's probably a carryover from WWII, however the Japanese people have suffered more than anyone I can think of at our hand, yet have been our staunch ally and have cooperated fully with us in every expectation since the War. Because their philosophy of life differs from ours, we fear the unknown. In many ways, the Japanese are a fearless, tireless society interested in forwarding humanity through technology. I fear that our most challenging hurtle to overcome in moving our country forward is the attitude of the majority of our population. People should pull their head out of the sand long enough to look around the rest of the world and realize that we are no longer at the top of the mountain looking down upon everyone else. There are many societies around the globe which maintain a higher standard of living than do we.

Vance, after somewhere around 45,000 posts by you, most of which are expessions of abject hatred toward others, your feelings about Japanese are well and truly familiar to everyone here.
Suffice to say, opinions like yours, fortunately aren't the same as most everybody else.
Truth be told, the vast majorty of others don't share your feelings.
Thank God.

Well, that's okay vance1. Everyone is entitled to their own preferences. I am glad to see that you dislike all imports. At least you're consistant. I once liked American cars & thought that they were the only 'thing' in cars. Then I got a little older and became introduced to more mechanical devices and was able to understand the term 'understated elegance'. I have respect for straight forward uncomplicated mechanical devices whether they be foreign or domestic. I just never see any thing at the occasional car show that doesn't have a small block chevy motor or a full-on race motor in a small car. It's good to look at but not practical or functional in the real world. Besides, that path was blazed many years ago. Show me something worth looking into.

Well I have owned and driven American vehicles my entire life and needless to say, I havent had any troubles.
They start and run and take me where ever I need to go.
and they are built by Americans.
I just drove my Mustang shelby from Phoenix to Kansas and back, Zero issues and it was great.

I wish people would not attack American vehicles.

Yes me to, But what you have here is a lot of anti American anti Bussiness liberals, who will go out of their way to put down and take down our country.
They know damm well that the profits from their liberal import vehicle goes back to the motherland of that car, rather than stay in thier own country, They buy these vehicles because their intentions is to hurt America, it is the same reason they vote for Obama, They hope to make America a socialist nation.
Most havent joined our military, and most havent even owned or flown Old Glory, No one in my American family would even think about owning a foriegn vehicle or voting for the Obama.
We have all served our country gracefully and faithfully.
I wouldnt ever even allow someone with one of these liberal anti American vehicles to park it in my driveway, They must park their shyt on the street.
