Can't say I've ever watched a road course start to finish, they've just never held my interest ... until now. I miss watching Tony race!

Nothing personal against Aric Almirola, he seems like a nice guy, but I'm disappointed in this announcement. I don't understand SHR strategy. The other top teams in the Cup series are signing young talent, SHR is "the old timers" team. They count on Harvick to carry the team and he's 42, so the driver's seat in the 4 car might be empty a year or two down the road.

I was hoping they would bring Cole Custer up, he's 19, 6th in Xfinity points. If they didn't think he was ready, I wish they would have signed Matt Kenseth. IMO, he has a better chance of seeing VL than AA does.

I'm still a Tony Stewart fan, but can't say I root for any of his teams. I think Nascar's future is Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, Eric Jones, and William Byron. Kyle is the oldest of these drivers at age 25.

My marriage and children couldn't be better - thanks for asking.

What do Cole and Matt bring to the table? Cole didn't finish 5th in Xfinity series or winning the last race at Homestead by being lucky. I think he has a great future in Nascar. And Matt, like Kevin and Kurt, is a former cup Champion.

I understand the importance of sponsors, but I can't believe that Aric was a package deal. Unless it's another Menards family thing and I don't know about his connection with Smithfield.(and who does Springfield sponsor?)

The Xfinity has competitors from ages from 19-76!. While it's certainly a training ground for up and coming cup drivers, Elliott Sadler age 42 and Justin Allgaier age 31 finished 2nd and 3rd in points. A driver's age isn't what's a big deal to me, but I really wish Nascar would limit cup drivers from competing in either the Xfinity or Truck series. Of about 33 Xfinity races, I think Kyle Busch won 5. Does a cup driver competing for the cup championship really need the practice?

Tony baloney can't go back to Indy Car to race road courses; he's too fat to fit in the cars.

True But know one had video of OJ stabbing Goldman . And cutting N. Simpson throat . We will always have the video of Tony slamming his race car into Kevin Ward And see his lifeless body on the track. Remember OJ was found responsible for the killing in the Civil trail. But the good thing about twitter & Facebook they let tony know he is a killer.
And he can not deny it.
