Why does my digital clock, selecter lever and odometer not work?

my car is 2004 Volkswagen Jetta, 2.0L 4 Cylinder,The digital clock, Display for Selector lever position, auto trans, and odometer/trip odometer just quit working. What could be the cause? Are they circuit braker driven?
if i want to solve it by myself,does the tool VAG K+CAN scanner can help me?
