No, toyoter created this situation by building defective cars, then lying about it, then blaming their customers. They brought the strong arm of the law after them. Without those actions there would’ve been no lawsuits.

The long arm of the law came with greedy intent.
SUA is nothing more than a tort litigator cash cow.
Low hanging fruit, ripe for the picking.

The long arm came with dignity and respect. toyota came with lies and deceit. Without the sua there would’ve been no law suits. At minimum you must concede that fact.

An overstatement if there ever was one.
Dignity and respect was never any part of this issue.
The law came with avarice and greed.
Tort litigators began salivating the minute news broke on this one.
SUA is a parody of justice.

SUA was a fact. Do you deny it?

Are you attempting to change history here? Do you actually want someone to believe that out of the blue the law came to toyota and said “we fine you?”

How funny

There are at least two sides to every story,
SUA has many sides--some of them are on the dark side.
The result of this issue is clearly a tort litigant field day.
A lot of money is being played with in this situation.
It would probably make a great John Grisham novel someday.
Justice played a very small part in the SUA fiasco.

Let’s get this straight just for the record.

You say the floor mats and sticking pedals didn’t occur.

Out of the blue, the US said “hell lets fine toyota.”

Because of that, citizens sued them?

Is that what you’d like us to believe?

I said what I said,
You are overreacting again.
SUA became a tort litigator's cash cow.
It was a judicial farce to begin with and has become a bigger farce since.
Justice left that issue behind a long time ago.

Justice is correct and not to forget, this never would’ve happened without toyota’s actions. What’s next, you trying to sell me that obama is a good president?

I think Obama's doing the best he can under the circumstances.
He was duly elected, and that's good enough for me.
He beat what's in second place.
Besides, he's the boss, and although not always right, he's still the boss.

Re justice.
Tort litigation windfall.
That's what I think of SUA.

He's doing the best he can to destroy the fabric of our country, I'll give you that.

SUA was a product of toyota.

Maybe it's time some of that fabric changed.

SUA was a problem that Toyota had.
What happened as a result was a legal and litigation lynching.
That's part of the fabric that needs to change.

If you admit toyota uses saki in their oil we're done.

Saki is a hideous beverage.
But maybe that's what makes them so reliable.

I'm certainly not "liking you to believe" anything.
I have merely stated what I believe.
What I believe is what's important to me.
What you believe is your business, and of no importance to me.
I believe the SUA issue became a tort litigator free-for-all.
I believe that Toyota had a problem that wasn't entirely of their own making.
I believe that to a significant degree, Toyota was pilloried by the media.
I believe to a significant degree Toyota was victimized by your government.
I also believe that SUA is history and it's time to move on.
