Had my 2002 Tacoma done last year. They did a good job rides like a new truck .I had them put new sruts, tie rods, lower control arms, ball joints,it only took them 3 days to do it only had to pay for parts no labor.Year before that rear housing rusted out they replaced that for free to.Good luck to every one.

we have a 2001 Sequoia that a dealer in Merrillville is replacing. Power fluid line broke ($1100). Dealer says call.. Toyota says they are not responsible. Toyotas recall says it will be fixed at no cost to us. Is anyone else having problem like this?

Yes, Toyota has had rust problems.

But so has every other automaker in the world.

And we’ve had diarrhea too.

Kind of an irrelevant comment..the article is clearly about toyota’s recall on rusting frames. Not broken door handles on the Camry or a recall on a Subaru. No, it’s entirely about toyota’s rusty frames.

So what?
Is there something wrong with making comments about rust in other cars?
Rusty cars is a universal problem, not exclusive to Toyota.

Yes

We’re talking about a specific rust occurrence on a specific line of automobile.

Rust is common to all automobiles.
Where does it say this can't be talked about?

In your conscience, at least it should say that.

There's no rule saying rust can't be discussed.

We’re talking about rust on toyota’s frames. You can talk about rust all day. That’s not what you want to do.

I chose to talk about something common to all vehicles.
It's called rust.
Singling out one vehicle is not correct, nor is it truthful.

It's very truthful. Do you deny toyota's rust problem on these frames?

Toyota has rust problems.
So do all other automakers.

Who cares about other makers if we’re talking about toyota frame rot? That’s like talking about a giraffe with scabies and then some yahoo chimes in with “dogs have it too.”

No.
If Giraffes have scabies there's nothing wrong with talking about scabies.
Or other animals with the same problem.

Disagreement is allowed.
But rust is common to all automakers.
Fact.

I have a 1993 Toyota pick up with 110,000 miles minimum body rust interior is perfect but I have about a 2"x8" hole is the driver side frame. Will Toyota buy it?
