I drive a tundra but I did not know the Toyota Prius was union made. Is my tundra union made also? And what is going on with the tax money stuff?

Forbes Auto Report July 2012

GM suffered the biggest monthly decline among the major automakers, with sales down 21.3 percent in a market that was slightly weaker than the previous June.

Fellow Detroit automaker Ford Motor Co.'s sales were down 8.2 percent, for an eighth consecutive monthly decline, and DaimlerChrysler AG's sales slipped 1.8 percent.

It was a different story though, for Japan's leading automakers which all reported big gains.

Toyota put the Tundra's launch back on track with big discounts. A report by Edmunds.com said that demand for the giant Japanese automaker's first full-size truck wasn't meeting the company's annual sales target of 200,000 units but it all but turned around after Toyota offered no-interest loans and other incentives amounting to $5,083 per pickup. The move resulted in Tundra sales that more than doubled to 21,727 last month.

Deceiving article and thatís why people should never get their auto recap from Forbes. GMís sales were up 15.5% while Japanese vehicle sales must increase because these are YOY numbers and Japanese auto production was hampered last year. In fact, GM bested the competition at 248,750. From reading this article it wold sound like GM fell well behind and thatís not true. Further, the Tundra has a rather meager sales target of 200K, which places it well behind the heavy hitters in the market both in sales and target.

Wording means everything. I like to simply look at the numbers.

If Peeus is a union made welfare buggy, then the same must be said about it's
EV competitor.
Because the same conditions apply.
But most folks recognize saying things like that is just childish sour grapes.
Same could be said for those who find fault with Forbes magazine.

No, it's not. Nobody said anything about Leaf.
But you know which competitor I referred to, don't you.
There was a ton of welfare there, and we're talking union as well.
No difference.

Iím not sure what the peeus has to do with the Leaf or Fisker. If youíre talking about the Volt, itís not oriental.
