There are many reasons why people need help both long term and short.
If abortion fixed that situation there wouldn't be any need for welfare now would there.
Abortion has been legal since what 1973?

Lack of education is a reason why some are on welfare.
Substance abuse is another reason why parents can't take proper care of their children.
Much less keep a job.
Much of our long term homeless have substance abuse problems.
But let's blame Bush.
I never ever heard of the idea of killing people to keep them out of prison..
35% of those in our prisons are illegal aliens.
We have no problem paying for them.
First of all there no PRO-coat hanger people!
That(coat-hanger) was proven years ago to be an old wives tale. Along with useing a lye enema.
More women today die from legal abortions than died from illegal.
Don't expect the Abortion industry to be open with their records.

If you are against LEGAL abortions, then you are supporting the return of ILLEGAL abortions. Yes, coathanger abortions did happen, along with back alley abortionists. Women died. Abortions are SAFE and legal today, but (thanks to the god-loving bullies) are still not available to the poorest people, who can't afford them, and who are frightened of breaking through the haters who block the entrance and yell at people trying to enter abortion clinics. A huge number of abortion clinics have closed due to fear of the god-bullies who have gone as far as murder to close these clinics. Why can't we have safe abortions being done in hospitals, where nobody needs to know why anyone is there, and being paid for by public funds if needed. If you can't afford an abortion, then you will end up being a welfare candidate. You either support women's choice to decide what is best for her, or you support the return of the back alley, coat-hanger abortion, and a huge increase in unwanted welfare and drug exposed babies.

Abortions aren't any safer today than in the past.
Women still die or horriably maimed but you will never hear about it.
I just read an piece by an ex-abortionist. He told of women bleeding to death. The abortion center waited to the last minute to call for help.
He also told about how very young girls, because they were so small they were left sterile from the precedure.
After having an abortion teenagers come home and die(bled to death) in their bedrooms. Parents didn't even know where why or how.

This sounds like a story of an illegal, back alley abortions. There are still some going on due to people being unable to pay for safe, legal abortions. If you enjoy this type of story and want to see more, then keep fighting for "pro-life."

I wonder if dinosaurs were also "pro-life" and the resulting overpopulation led to their extinction. We need to learn from history, and this is one big history.

I would just like to point out that dinosaurs were not "Lizards." They were their own catagory. In fact, birds are now considered a branch of dinosauria. Due to the fact that they were warm blooded, they probably handled the cold very similar to how modern mammals do.

Surely some were indeed reptiles. Just like the VelocirRaptor has been proven to have had feathers like a bird and the Brontosaurus ate vegetation just like a bovine mammal, we have living proof that 'some' dinosaurs were lizards. What are the Crocodile and Alligator if not lizards? Even a Komodo Dragon would have to be considered a modern dinosaur and it is a cold blooded lizard.

Interesting the fact that birds are such a strong link to certain spieces of dinosaurs. Is it possible they migrated seasonaly like birds do and the larger predatory dinosaurs basically followed them to warmer climes?
