Civil libertarians in Australia believe the boys in blue should "toughen up" when it comes to swear words and have slammed a Townsville Magistrate who ruled it's unacceptable to call police officers "c**ts". Queensland Council of Civil Liberties president Michael Cope yesterday said he did not stand by a decision from Magistrate Rod Madsen to ...

Yes a lot of police officers seem to lack ability to do their jobs correctly and seem to be very emotionally soft. Policing is a tough job and police should be trained properly to be able to cope with their emotions.
Losing it or getting angry because someone is being a dick or mouthing off
is not acceptable.

The police have had a gutful of loudmouthed uncontrollable drunken hoons and calling them c***s is not acceptable either. It wasn't acceptable 10 years ago why should it be acceptable now? People are leaving the police force at an increasing rate and pretty soon we won't have enough left to control the mobs.

The only reason they might "lack the ability to do their jobs correctly" is because of PC bullshit the crims have been given more rights and power than the police.

John 18:3 mentions the cohort and officers of the high priest. Although “cohort” can refer to troops of any nation, in this case it refers to a squad (or more) of soldiers from the Roman cohort. In Jerusalem, a reference to “the cohort,” along with the mention of a chiliarchos (commander of a cohort, John 18:12), makes it clear that Roman troops are present along with the officers of the high priest. Since civil disorder was always a possibility at Passover, the high priest decided to request a contingent of Roman troops to support this arrest. John’s wording can be interpreted to mean that some portion of the cohort was present, rather than the entire cohort.

When I used to drive heavy transport I would continually be pulled over for some stupid revenue raising reason.
The last time whilst on the sugar I got done for going too quickly on the Tully bypass very late one night on a road that should be 100K.
When the copper eventually caught up and got my attention to pull over outside a closed petrol station and explained my problem,I let loose with some terse language .
He didn't mind my language at all as he wrote me up.
The next morning I spoke with the petrol station people and they said how they heard someone speaking quite rudely .
They said they didn't mind the language as they felt that I was speaking for most of the population of Tully when airing my views towards this member of the highway patrol.

A bit of terse language is part of the course if they are real coppers.
