To the journalists of the world, Assange will be welcome anywhere. Perhaps not in Australia, although the former PM there, Rudd has praised him highly for allowing the hidden sins of the world to be posted on the site he once controlled.

Actually, he no longer controls it. But few know that.

Yeah why not. Only in Australia could a rapist and terrorist be welcomed back like a conquering hero; the Australian Caesar crossing the Rubican.
Seems the more patriotic Australians are the more they hate Americans. I say let the terrorist return to his native land. Let him revel in Australia's adulation.
Know this Australia. You have spit in our faces too many times before. Our patience with your ANTIAMERICAN BULLSHIT is wearing thin. When Assange comes back to Austraila, AMERICA will CONSIDER AUSTRALIA the ENEMY. We are a little slow to anger but once AUSTRALIA's Antimarican becomes apparent to America, your so called LUCKY COUNTRY will be dealt with harshly.

That's not bad but it would cost more than that for me to go there so that's my boycott.

Why wouldn't he be welcome in Australia? We welcome all refugees, especially asylum seekers. All the boat people can verify that.

He's an Australian citizen and hasn't broken any laws here - of course he'll be welcome back here.
