Bleak start to 2013 on roads

SEVEN people including an eight-year-old girl have died in traffic accidents in what has been a bleak start to the new year on Australian roads.

Some fat cop with a mustache goes on tv saying the road toll is unacceptable, blah blah blah.
Every country in the world has traffic accidents, always has and always will.

If it isn't the road surface it has to be the vehicles.

I used to be a professional driver averaging 18 hours per day everyday driving all over Australia.
I assume most problems occur when city drivers head bush during holidays and have nothing to concentrate on as they have to do in the city everyday and then crash into deaths door.
