Sydney, Aug 24: The cost of prosecuting Jayant Patel, the disgraced Indian-origin former surgeon in an Australian hospital, has crossed $2.98 million, including almost $85,000 on his living since his trial began in 2008.

YOu idiot queensland labour govt.. blame peter bettie for this.. instead of years ago training more students for doctors.. our brain dead govt gets doctors from india , that don't give a fuck and just turn up here and make money at our expense. as can be seen here in this example. incompetent , but that doesn't matter.. as long as we have A doctor somewhere to see to the masses.
