noisy neighbours

In 2008 the Queenslnd Government was going to introduce new and tough anti neighbourhood noise laws. It is nearly at the end of 2009 and nothing has been done.
I don't care if a neighbour has a couple of parties throughout the year, but I strongly object to "doof doof" nearly every afternoon/evening and most weekends vibrating through the brick wall of my house.
With the present laws the police (wonderful job) can shut them down for 12 hours and only punish them if they start up in this time.
What I wish for is at least shut down for 48 hours (weekend) and repeat offenders ( 3 times in 12 months ) fined and their equipment auctioned off and money going to police youth clubs
One day the Government might (ha ha ha) show some GUTS and help out normal lawful citizen of Queensland.

Get with your other neighbours and ring, ring, ring, ring the police they will get sick of going to noisebox's house and will give him/he some tough justice.
Don't give the neighbour will aways stay a problem to anyone who lives next to him/her and will never learn or change his/her anti social ways
