I don't think anybody can be so cruel doctor to kill people. I know the racists will convict an innocent man.

I think the person (or people) who hired him without properly checking out his background and references should be on trial alongside him.

In 1984 in Buffalo he was fined $US5000 and placed on three years clinical probation for failing to examine patients before surgery.

In 2001, New York State health officials withdrew his license.

In 1989 the Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Oregon accused him of performing surgery when not rostered to work, operating on other surgeon's patients, operating unnecessarily and causing serious injury and death. In 1998 they restricted his practice.

Yet some clown appointed Patel to the Bundaberg Base Hospital despite his having no specialist surgical qualifications and despite all of the above.

I could smell the racism and judgemental views expressed on Topix. He could never get a fair trial in Australia.
