I imagine this will go down really well with his victims. Patel will swan off now back to the states.

My heart goes out to the victims.Based on my own experience as a former female hare Krsna member,(had to leave to preserve my mental health. The oppression sickened me.The pressure to worship the people frightened me & the lack of honesty with ourselves & others coupled with the " selling" of the belief they are the lords humble devotees ( just like click your fingers) placed us in a precarious position of narcissism.
Tonight listening to friends accounts of how the poor are treated in India,& the fatalistic belief trap of caste & karma ... in total, worried me!
To be honest,I would not have found Jayant Patel... not guilty

What if he is found not guilty on all counts ? What then ? Will "whistleblower" Hoffman and "agitator" Crosby accept the law ? If Hoffman was so worried about the people of Bundaberg what was she doing for years working in Saudi Arabia for tax free dollars ??? I'm sure that helped Australia. As for Crosby, what the hell is a "patient advocate" anyway ? Can't patients talk for themselves ?

Jo-Anne, what has the hare-krishna organisation have to do with this case ?
Thug, you sound like a wimp to me.
Sid, the prosecution has spent more than 10 times the money (our money) the defense had and they still lost. So what is your point ?
