Why would you take any notice of MacArthur? He was a pathetic commander during WWII exonerated war criminals and was relieved of command in Korea for his pathetic performance and failure to follow orders, most of the praise in the WWII Pacific theater should go to leaders like Chester Nimitz, MacArthur on many occasions claimed or accepted credit for deeds he had not performed, and disclaimed responsibility for mistakes that were clearly his own, nothing but a pathetic glory hound and liar stealing other peoples thunder.
