Sidetracks - Catholic school opens gates to Hell boy

The Hell family says it may tell a Catholic school in Australia where to go after it initially objected to enrolling their son because of his name.

It is his given name, his father's name, his grandfather's name, probably his great great grandfather's name. If it were my child I would be at the school they were moving him from to complain & demand that something be done about the bullying!

What in the Hell is this story about? He seems like a Hell of a kid. Everyone is so Hell-bent about the school. I say, to Hell with them all. If that kid goes to school there he'll have one HELL of an experience..
by the time he finishes, he'l have been to HELL and back.

His mother will be cross if he is badly treated and you know

Seems he's in a HELL'uv a situation alright!
They'll have to move Heaven and HELL to get this school thing sorted.

What's in a name? I grew up with two girls who lived with their names until marriage. One was named Sandy Busti and was anything but busty and Linda Flatt, on the other hand, walked with a shopping cart just to get around. Sandy married a guy named Long and became a marathon runner and Linda married a doctor named Hurt and had breast reduction surgery.

I agree about complaining to the school about the bullying, but there's only so much anyone can do about that. Kids will be kids. If it is a family name that goes back for generations, then A) It should have been changed generations ago, and B) who cares? People alter family names all the time for various reasons. They could just add an "O" to make it "hello", or "helloni". It would provide the kid some relief, and he could always change it back as an adult, if he so chose.
