I guess Palawa is no longer on this forum to comment on these affairs. Sounds very complex, Jurrah was apparently playing a role as family head to settle a dispute traditional style. Does the local judicial system apply or is it a matter for the aboriginal courts?

Swinging a machete at somebody while blind drunk is not traditional style, and aborigines dont have a court.
