This is also wrong. Women can travel by themselves. I've been to several Muslim countries like Malaysia, Pakistan, Indonesia and even Dubai and Western countries like USA and Canada where I've seen Muslim women driving the car by themselves (to pick up the kids or to go shopping). Wrong. This is an English translation from Arabic. In proper context, this particular section of Islam was revealed to the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) because one of his followers questioned him about how married and single women could be easily identified in the market and could be sexually distracting. God then revealed scriptures to the Prophet that protected women from rape and sexual assault. This is the purpose of these verses. Do you know that there are over 1.5 million Muslims in UK including 700,000 women. How many of them wear head scarves?

Again, taken out of context. You should actually read the verses before and after. You are actually questioning God's morality not Muhammad as the prophet did not make these rules. Nikah Mut'ah is to satisfy one's sexual needs. Many Arabs were and still are nomadic and, therefore don't stay in one place. By having a Nikah Mut'ah, it will lead (and often does) to permanent marriage. All Muslim men are given the right to marry 4 women. But 99% of Muslim men throughout the world only have one wife. Ever wondered why? Maybe a bit of research on Wikipedia might help!

Again, mis-quoted. The Quran is written in Arabic and not in English and its a good idea to read it in context. A husband (married man in this case) can only physically strike his wife if she refuses sex and they are married (if you read the Arabic version that's what it is referring to here). A woman can also hit her husband for the same reason.

Poem in Pakistani Jihadist Magazine: "Then We Will Go Inside America, We Will Blow up the Earth of New York; By Using the Plough of Jihad We, We Will Eliminate the Infidels from Earth"

Haftroza Al-Qalam, an Urdu-language weekly Pakistani magazine, has published a poem inciting jihad against the U.S. and its allies in Afghanistan. The magazine owes its allegiance to the Sunni militant organization Jaish-e-Muhammad.

Jaish-e-Muhammad, which is based in Pakistan’s Punjab province, is closely linked to Al-Qaeda. It is led by Maulana Masood Azhar, a Pakistani militant commander who was released by the Indian government in exchange for the passengers of an Indian plane that was hijacked in December 1999.

The poem, which was published in the November 6-12, 2009 issue of Haftroza Al-Qalam, is written by Maulana Abu Jandal, probably a pen name. Following is the full text of the poem.
