Unfortunately not all VORTs are marked to a particular standard. You may get a tester who fails you for blinking at the wrong time (slight exaggeration, but they really are that anal); or you may get a tester who is very friendly and would only fail you if you did something really bad or dangerous. I had the anal tester and was unfairly failed. It is a TERRIBLE system that allows hopeful young people to get ripped off by testers who are just interested in making more money. I myself was part of this scam and I am very angry. Just be very careful who you choose and go for a big company, not a private tester.

Agree.
In my case he didnt even let me set my mirrors. He was in hurry like he has bunch of ants in his pant. It seems he was deliberatly trying to make me do some mistakes. He kept on pushing me,'Common man I cant spend entire day with you.... You got to do your reverse parking in 1 minute.' He made me so upset and I forgot to turn on my indicator while geting my car out while reverse parking. thats it. He got his chance. My test was at transmere, started from 172 Glynburn Rd.
My advise is it doesnt matter who you do training with. However, Make sure you choose friendly examiner.

GDAY THE VORT SYSTEM IS A TOATL SCAM I DONE MY TEST AND WAS FAILED ON MIRROR CHECK THE CLOWN TOLD ME I DID THIS 8 TIMES IN DRIVE I WAS VERY PISSED OFF AS I KNEW I DID LOOK AT ALL CORNERS IN MIRROR, A LONG AND VERY HEATED TIME WAS SPENT TELLING HIM I THOUGHT IT WAS A JOKE AND SCAM TO OFFER THE VORT TEST AS THEY KNOW THEY WILL FAIL YOU mitcham driving school in adelaide is a joke and will rip you off

HAVE TO BACK MARK UP ON THAT THAT SCHOOL NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT AS I ALSO WAS FAILED DUE TO BULLSHIT REASON VERY ANAL TESTER AND SHOULD OF TOOK A PICTURE OF HIS PARKING ATTEMP WHEN HE ARRIVED TO TEST ME.
