The way it's supposed to be, marriage a covenant between a man and a woman before God and all people in which the man becomes husband to the woman and the woman wife to the man the purpose is for their happiness and to remain together until death parts them, and if God blesses them to bring new life into the world. Partnerships are only required to last as long as the partners or a partner agree the partnership or contract lasts
