Good luck with $250K in that area... what would motivate anyone to live there, other than if they were cheaper.

250K for an old bld that over looks the Inner Loop and 490?
Has no secured parking?
No nearby grocery or corner store, except over 1/2 mile away at South and Alexander.

Some pluses are if you love theatre, the Geva is a block away.
And next door is Sully's Pub which has great Woodfired Pizza and Wings. And a hot bartender.
Dinosaur is across the street. You can walk to War Memorial, Parties in the Park, the Library and any downtown parade.

Hope they provide 24-hour security, lots of cameras and bars on the lower windows. No parking would be a deal killer at half the price. Don't need the library anymore, we have the net.

I also looked at that building on the sat map on Bing.com and it still looks like a rundown city property that no one would live in but them squatters.. Lets see if them squatters wopuld have a chance of staying there!!
NOT even for $100 a year would I live there with all the CRIME within the urban city limits!!

IF by chance they sell them would they be paying back the taxpayers that fronted them the 1.1 million dollars?? I doubt IT, it never comes back just like the "Profits" from the sale of the Willie Johnson Fast Ferry scam didn't dome back to we taxpayers in NYState!!!

Actually there is only one condo left at the Lofts at Capron and it is $349,000. The one for a half million just sold.

My friend just bought the last condo. They are all sold out. I heard they are planing on building 32 more condos at one of their properties on St. Paul Street. Right next to Tapas restaurant. That project also has indoor parking, which is a must in any city! These condos are a little smaller and will be about half the price.$125,000 to $225,000.

This project is all sold out, but I heard the developers are going to be converting the Searle Building lofts into condos next.
