Apparently Illinois can't afford to keep it's police on the streets, but we have the funding to fight these speeding tickets in court. Does anybody realize that when a license is at stake people lawyer up and cost the state thousands of dollars in court costs? I'm glad they got the drunk drivers off the road but these exorbitant speeding tickets are going to cost the state more to enforce than they will bring in with revenue.
