I SEEN MORE POOR PEOPLE IN ATLANTA THAT WERE WHITE THAN I SEEN ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.
If people were responsible for themselves you wouldn't have a job. You have alerted us as to why you are so upset you have resorted to the use of profanity to express your thoughts. Your response is typical of a person living off the government (taxpayers like us). In a free country you and your fellow liberals could support anyone you wish and so could the conservatives, but alas the socialist democrats choose not to allow us this freedom. Bless your little heart.

You really are pathetic. Keep that attitude and you will never see another republican in the white. If it wasn't for gerrymandering they probably wouldn't be in congress either. Note I said probably. We all know you have trouble comprehending that word.

two excerpts from the same post, where the author is claiming to be;

1, a woman WORKING at a HUD office in her area.
2, a rich socialite, that gives away large amounts of money.

well, which one is it?

So gerrymandering in Georgia keeps 2 Republican Senators in the Senate, caused Georgia to vote to not for a democrat for president since Jimmy Carter, and it keeps a Republican governor in the State Capital? Your comments show you don't know much about Georgia politics, and who has comprehension problems. Were you guessing or lying this time? If you replace your dunce cap with a thinking cap you might improve your political analysis. Bless your little heart.

Please look at David Scott's district map. It's a model of modern gerrymandering. From above it looks like some kind of malignant growth.

Stupid obviously i was referring to the house..... What would gerrymandering have to do with senate and presidency? Lord have mercy you are so stupid everything has to be spooned fed to you so you can understand like a child. To answer your question, no gerrymandering would not cause those things to happen because it has nothing to do with what you just said. Why would you even mention the president when I clearly said congress?

With an overwhelming majority of Republican members of the House in Georgia, your theory is false. The gerrymandering was enforced by the federal courts to insure black representation in Congress. BTW, Most political students are aware the Senate is a member of Congress. Bless your little heart.

I know majority of the house from Georgia is republican, that's what I was saying. You really do have a problem with comprehension. Do you know the definition of Gerrymandering? Let me help your poor soul:
As a noun: 1 : the act or method of gerrymandering
2 : a district or pattern of districts varying greatly in size or population as a result of gerrymandering
As a verb: 1 : to divide (a territorial unit) into election districts to give one political party an electoral majority in a large number of districts while concentrating the voting strength of the opposition in as few districts as possible
2 : to divide (an area) into political units to give special advantages to one group <gerrymander a school district>
You show how dumb you are. Laws are made to PREVENT gerrymandering and Gerrymandering is NOT enforce.
I hope one with any common sense would know that congress is made up of the senate and the house..
To spell it out for you since you don't have acceptable reading comprehension skills, gerrymandering is used to make sure a certain party will have an advantage, in terms of votes, in a district( you do know that one House representatives comes from each district in Georgia I hope). Go ahead and respond. I would bet money you won't understand none of this and will say something else stupid and wrong

The federal government rules on the lines drawn for our political districts in Georgia to insure there are enough black voters in them and to insure black control in some districts. This is gerrymandering by the federal government, call it what you wish.

Yes, the state legislature does draw the lines, but the federal government must rule on their validity to make sure they are not discriminating on the civil rights of blacks within those districts. Georgia is still under the scrutiny of the Civil Rights Voting Act. You are so quick to label everyone who disagrees with you an idiot, even when you are wrong. A lot of people consider you a joke because you are wrong so often and your bigoted use of incorrect labeling. Bless your little heart.

This is where you made an incorrect statement. The gerrymandering was done by the feds to insure blacks had representation in Congress. When the state legislature drew up districts, the feds made the state change these districts. One district even included part of metropolitan Atlanta and Savannah to insure black representation. This was federal gerrymandering at its worst. Bless your little heart.

BTW, when you move to the Atlanta area and want diversity you might consider Dekalb Co., that school system has just been put on probation. Dekalb was once a model of excellence for American Schools to emulate, but now it is a sad excuse for an educational experience, proving diversity is not the answer for improving American education.

Please read the definition carefully this time......
Main Entry: 2gerrymander
Function: transitive verb
Inflected Form(s): gerrymandered; gerrymanderˇing\-d(ə- )riŋ\
Date: 1812
1 : to divide (a territorial unit) into election districts to give one political party an electoral majority in a large number of districts while concentrating the voting strength of the opposition in as few districts as possible
Why do you think the Feds stepped in??????? Common sense should tell you that when the districts(electoral district) lines were drawn, it diliberately put republicans at an advantage(to give one political party advantage over the other)Why???? It's a fact most blacks are democrats. Am I correct on that??? So by Deliberately Dividing an area( to give one political party an electoria advantage) so that there is not an adequate Representation of blacks(concentrating the voting strength)in a certain district ultimately gives the REPUBLICAN(political party) candidate an advantage! Which is the exact definition of gerrymandering. When the Feds stepped in they did not give Blacks an ADVANTAGE, they made the playing feel more equal. I even reference the dictionary definition directly beside what I said hint the parenthesis by certain words. If you still don't understand the definition I'm sorry I can not spell it out any clearer. Poor soul

One only has to look at the distorted geographical drawing of some of the districts to view how the feds give blacks a voting advantge. Bless your little heart.
