For those writing or responding to this situation. God is in control. Those who pass judgement are not free from sin. There is a time and place for everything. No matter the circumstances of how and why this occurred, even the most experienced driver dies. The family deserves your prayers and well wishes not your judgement and speculations. Peace be with the families and my heart felt condolences goes out to them.

God's Will? Right....This is a sad but common story. Teens even when sober, don't have the skills to handle the speed of a car in good situations, let alone emergencies. Hopefully no drugs or alcohol were involved. When will parents learn, not to buy your kid that car, no matter how much he or she whines, while you claim to love them. Other teens will ride with the ones that do have cars, and they die along with the driver. Of course my thoughts go out to the family, but these type tragedies can be avoided. Don't let your kid drive alone, don't let your kid ride with other kids. It's like giving them a hand grenade and telling them not to pull the pin. So, what's the first thing they will do when out of your site? Pull the pin.
I understand what your saying. I have 3 driving young men. They were not allowed their licence until 17 and that was a learners. They also had the "family car" to drive, not anything with power.
But I must add this; my best friends daughter was killed. She had a Honda (without an airbag, this was a while ago). She was coming home from work doing about 40, it was raining. She slid off the road and hit a large oak head on. My point being that the cops and wreaker people told us even with an air bag she would of been killed. People don't win against trees. These teens just could of slid of the road in all innocence. Our bodies just can't take a lot of trama. I'm not disagreeing with you, I just thought to make a point that all may not be as it seems.

It seems to me that there are a lot of fatal wrecks with these Dodge Neons, I have heard of quite a few people that have died from minor accidents. I wonder how the car does in crash ratings.

What an awful comment to make.....you have no right to say that. I don't even know these kids but I would never say a demeaning comment like that. I hope you will find the light one day or you will be where it's very very hot and dark!!

This is so sad! My heart goes out to the friends and families of these young men. When my kids started driving, I was always nervous about them driving on GA Hwy. 20. It is a treacherous road! A few miles down 20 from where this accident ocurred is another bad spot:
FYI for drivers in Henry County: We live right by the "new bridge" over Walnut Creek on Georgia State Route 20 between East Lake Rd. and Airline Rd. There is a BLIND & EXTREMELY SHARP curve there now with no warning or signs for east bound drivers! It is very, very dangerous! Tell people to slow down as they approach this curve and please investigate who designed and who approved this flawed roadway! It is urgent! GADOT are you listening? Henry County BOCC do your job and investigate this!

im with amy!! the roadways are horrible!! that is why the DOT is doing so much construction on 155-- to make the roads more square and safer!! i live at the kellytown & 155 intersection and i constantly hear wrecks due to the inability to see oncoming traffic!!

in defense of the 3 teens who lost their lives, hwy 20 is dangerous and the accident occurred at a curve. anyone not familiar with the road could easily miscalulate the turn especially in the dark!

My heart goes out to all of the families affected by this tragedy.
I was affected by the death of one of the greystone 5 in Ocala FL and know the heartache the entire community must be feeling. As my niece said then, now is not the time to speculate and blame but to remember, embrace and help each other through the sadness.

Excuse me, my brother was 21 years old when he graduated from high school. Not because he was stupid, because he was blind, and the school didn't have the facilities for him, so he made his way with the "normal" kids Today, he is a gospel singer, and owns three businesses of his own.
What do all you jerks who say '20 and still in high school' have?
