Jennifer,
I applaude you for defending yourself. This is a sad situation, especially for the innocent baby Brayden, and his sister who is too young to fully understand what happened to her little brother. My heart goes out to the Robinson family, with the exception of the mother. I know what it's like to lose a child. I have police and GBI connections, so I have seen more than the general public in this case. What I saw was horrific and beyond the comprehension of me as a mother how someone could allow this to happen to their child. Maybe Christie wasn't home, but she's defending the one who was responsible for caring for her child, in whose care the child was killed. That speaks volumes as to the type of "Mother" she really is. Believe me, there are facts the public doesn't know that would make you puke. He didn't die a quick death, it was VERY SLOW. May God be with the family and friends that loved this angel. May Casey Spradlin ROT in jail, and Christie rot in HELL!!!
Sam I agree with you completely!!! I guess that people like PAUL are more worried about the spelling of a word then the fact that a baby died a horrible death. Maybe when PAUL finds out some of the REAL facts he will see what kind of people these TWO really are!!! Thank you for your comment

Actually, innocent until proven guilty is specifically for the court/judicial system. It is not a concept that applies to common folks like us unless/until we are on the jury. We are legally entitled to act and speak however we want without any proof, and make all sorts of unsupported accusations annonymously on rumor forums like this one.

Thank you Sam! I can not even begin to imagine what this poor child went through in his final hours, it makes me want to puke and I do not know all of the details! You made an excellant point about the sibling that is to young to understand; it is so very sad that she must carry this with her for the rest of her life! I can not begin to know how horrific the loss of a child must be, my heart goes out to you and I am very sorry for your loss. Your last sentence is the perfect place that each deserves without a doubt! A child is a gift from God & the mother that carried this prescious gift should make sure that her child is safe from harm, Christie should rot in hell and Casey does deserve to rot in jail! Thank You!

Please tell me Paul why it is you corrected only MiamiFLYes and not WOW???? If you want to be the spelling/grammer patrol please be a little more aware of your surroundings! WOW used Your when it should have been You're! I was not going to be elementary and point that out because this subject has to do with an innocent child's death and not a review of what we should have learned in elementary! You should stop to think that this is an emotional issue for everyone...me...you & every other person making comments. I am sure that I have made spelling/grammer errors but it is not because I missed that day of elementary it is because I am so upset over the life of a child that could not defend himself but had to endure such a horrific death at the hands of someone!

Hi everyone. I have a couple of comments about this case (and this thread).

1. To the person on the last page who complained about someone's spelling/grammar, PLZ DON'T DO THAT! It is VERY BAD Netiquette! And it looks bad on YOU when you do that (I'll get some links for more information, if anyone is interested.)

2. Murdering your child (including a step-child) in cold blood (pre-meditated) is probably THE WORST THING that a human being can possibly do (next to Abuse Of Power). It is absolutely detestable!!! I'm not saying that he (nor the mother) IS GUILTY, that's for the courts to decide. But IF HE IS guilty, that is detestable!

And the defense wouldn't want me on the jury, I promise you that. Of course I the prosecution probably wouldn't allow me on the jury either (because I'm against the death penalty or even LWOP), but I'm just saying. Someone who deliberately murders his or her own child better hope I'm not on the jury (Or anywhere in the room, for that matter!)

3. While I don't believe in the death penalty, but if this defendant really did this (and if it was really deliberate First Degree Murder), I would probably volunteer to pull the switch! Again, that is absolutely detestable. You just DON'T murder your child. You just don't do that! Ever! Don't even think about it!!!

4.(Again, if this defendant is guilty), that was pretty stupid thinking that FORENSICS cannot tell precisely how a person died. This person needs to watch some CSI or something! ROFL! That was just dumb! DUMB!!! What decade is this person living in?

5. I hate child abusers. And I hate child murderers. There's just no excuse for it. If it's truly accidental, that's one thing (although I say be more friggin careful!). But anyone who would deliberately murder a child (such as Theresa Knorr, Susan Smith, Andrea Yates, etc.) is a detestable human being, and you can tell them I said so.

we had a similar death like this of a 2or 3 month old baby in cartersville a few years ago and the father was charged with murder because he was with the baby when he stopped breathing.it came out during the trial that the injuries could have happened at a time when the mom was at home. also , she admitted to falling down the stairs with the baby, that she passed out and dropped the baby, and neighbors testified to hearing the baby scream all the time and heard the mom screaming at this little baby. yet they charged the father and not her. it also came out at trial that this baby had several broken bones that had healed on their own.this girls own family testified on her boyfriends behalf because they knew that she had done this. she even told her husband that she would take the blame and was found to have been on the computer looking up defenses for shaken baby syndrome. when the father was found innocent they never even looked at charging her, even though it was obvious from testimony that she was guilty.her baby wasn't even buried 2 weeks before she was running around with a new boyfriend. i'm not saying that casey is innocent by any means, but the truth and alot more will come out at trial.

Very clever switching up “innocent until proven guilty” with “due process” however have you not stopped to think that there is a child that is dead in a coffin buried six feet in the ground forever without the ability to plead his case and remind people of his pure innocence because once again he is dead in a coffin buried six feet in the ground forever! It is apparent you are somehow linked to Christie and/or Casey therefore it would be expected that you would have some level of denial about what these individuals could be capable of doing. Please note Gary Ridgway’s wife never even speculated once during her marriage that her romantic loyal husband killed around 48 women! Let’s not forget how charming and articulate Ted Bundy was; being so suave who would have guessed his favorite past time was murder! To sum up this part of what I have to say to you is the only person that can really truly know someone would be themselves! Back to due process yes as an American we have the right to a fair trial with the option of having a jury trial made up of 12 citizens of our community who have been randomly selected. Take note that this forum is not a court room but a place for individuals to come and say what they will since modern technology makes this a possibility! You need to understand that since there is a child dead in a coffin buried six feet in the ground forever people are going to be shocked that both mommy and boyfriend are seemingly walking free and that will prompt outrage not just at mommy and boyfriend but at the seemingly naive judge whom deemed that this man should be walking amongst us! You have to understand also that this is based on what individuals are reading in the newspaper and that in itself is incriminating, then you throw in the town talk and well depending on what side you choose you will have formed an opinion it is human nature otherwise we would function without gray matter!

This is terribly sad and its rediculious the mother of this little boy was a horrible parent and the biological dad that I know is a great parent but obviously the man charged with murder was left responsible for watching the children as well... question is did he do it? or could the child have been hit and beat hours before ... bleeding brains can take hours to days to affect or kill someone. Either way there are no words to express this .... I cant stop thinking about it and it breaks my heart! My heart goes out to the hurt family of this child who didnt deserve to be beaten to death.... he never asked to be brought into this world! Is Casey denying he beat the child? Whats the mother have to say?
I guess if your idea of agreat parent is out getting not one but two duis and leaving the scene after hitting someone in the parking lot is your definition of great parent (i wonder who was watching his kids)

Jennifer...nice
Lee- Christie was at another of her jobs that caused her to 'work' late, yet for some reason never seemed to bring home a paycheck. Standard operating procedure for her. It was the same when she was married to the babies father.
Casey is culpable for this murder from the information I have.(That is more than most)
Christie had something to do with it and my gut says that she will eventually slip up and get busted. It is kind of hard not to believe this based on her sociopathic behavior at the viewing and funeral. She was more concerned with her lack of deodorant ruining her chances to return the dress she bought for the funeral.(Actually overheard)
Up until this incident, when the baby wasn't with his father, Casey was the one that took care of him and his sister. They spoke of him fondly, yet for some reason were always scared to mention their mother. Casey belongs in jail, Christie needs to be sterilized and caged like a dog.
wow somthing like this comming from rev i hope your not areal reverin cause if you are god should strike you down for evensaying those words about another humane being you should be ashamed of yourself i hope i never meet you in person people like you are the reason people turn away from church may people who know who you are be ashamed to know you

You are a real piece of work. This was not necessary to even think of much less put on here for the whole world to read! Since you are so well read in the arrest log published in the Times-Herald let me just point out to you that I have seen the last name Spradlin come up more then just twice for some very appalling reasons! So smart ass tell me does this family draw names to take turns getting arrested or do they get jealous of one another and compete with each other at who can get arrested for the worst crime?

yes i have thought the terrible fact that there is a child six feet underground forever but at the same time people are judging casey not only on hearsay and things they read about in the media which we all know they always tell the truth and yes casey hasevery right to be out among us unless you know the facts as some of us do know and as i said before if people saw the way casey was with both of those children you would know that there is know way he would have harmed brayden in any way he loved that little boy no matter what any of you might think and another terrible factis that if you dont think this could happen to you or anybodyelse you know and love dont be suprised if one day you get slapped upside your head with a dose of reality and how would you feel if it were your son or daughter people were saying the things about them that they are about casey and christy so think about that before any of you start bashing them again

You did not hit a nerve sweetie...I have had a family member who is no longer with me because of the exact cause of death, he was 17 and the killers are still also walking free us just like Christy and Casey...being that Michael was only 17 it was not a family member or boyfriend or mommy it was his best friend and yes after a decade his killers are still free! Do not assume that some of us have not walked in the same shoes honey because I have...do you not undertand that poor little Brayden could have survived a four story fall over the beating he endured. I have worn the shoe and you are in denial about wearing that shoe. You are a disgusting person that is to narrow minded to stop and think that you do not bring the father into this...it was not his watch those last few hours of Brayden's life it was his mothers and the boyfriend's watch and they failed. I hope that you begin to have nightmares of the dead that have died the same manner as Michael and poor little Brayden...maybe seeing the dead in your sleep will make you see that the living are capable of things only monsters can do!
