Where should I start...first off don't do it. It's not worth the risks. Some people have had no complications while some have. I'm living prove of that... Here's my story. I've had my butt injections for four years, apart from some numbness and leg pains I haven't had any problems. Fast forward present day. I started feeling hardness radiating to my calves and redness. At first I ignored it then it started affected the way I walked and I couldn't tolerate it anymore. Then, I had an overwhelming sense of being tired all the time. Then I decided to go to the ER. I didn't tell them that I had the injections, I just told them my symptoms. Well, my blood levels were super low and I had to get six pints of blood. I was sent for so many tests I can't even count. I signed myself out of the hospital because I knew I wasn't being truthful. I went home and two days later had to go right back and confess what I did. I had to be transfused two more times because my counts were low again. I was started on heavy doses of antibiotics and by this time my butt was hard as a rock, discolored, and the once rounded shape now looks like a box. I'm currently sitting here in a hospital bed, the doctors don't know what to do with me because its new to most of them. I'm not getting any better, I can't walk now, I'm alone and depressed. I know what needs to be done. The surgeons have already told me my butt will have to be cut open and all the tissues will have to cut out. I'm going to be disfigured, and will need extensive care and rehabilitation. I'm just here in bed waiting for what's to come. Please think about this before you do it, you might be the unlucky one. I'll keep you posted on my outcome.

I was advs by my doctor that they would simply going to cut out the infected portions. Did they tell you why we're you feeling the numbness in your leggs and the burning sensation that radiates. I my concern for my health too, I'm at the early stages. I'm getting Mri's right now. My blood work cme back normal so I guess that's a pulse tht it isn't in my blood stream nor effecting my major organs. If you like you can email me at deeejay1203@gmail.com I can forward you some emails tht I have when I reached out to this doctor in Venezuela. And other informative emails from others. I have a link that was forward to me from someone this forum that may help. Or even mention to your doctors. You Dnt have to be alone, there is alot of people out there who has made the same mistake as we have. We are all here to support each other. Hope to hear from u soon.

I'll keep you posted on my outcome. I'm sorry to hear that you are going thru this !!! Moat doctors are not educates with what you are going thru, they can try and treat the symptoms but what they really need to do is treat the actual problem. Andalot of times they work backwards ..please get a second opinion from a doctor that might have more experience with this...please ask ask ask questions!!! You deserve an answer to everything they are going to do to you...make sure the surgeon who is going to extract the infected tissue has done this before ...please try and research as much as you can ok, because not all doctors know what to do, infact hardly know how to even deal with this epidemic
