The housing crisis, record gas prices, 10 Billion Dollars per MONTH spent on a needless and reckless war in which thousands of Americans lost their lives, millions of Americans unable to pay for basic healthcare, collapsing bridges, overflowing levees, the outing of an undercover CIA agent in wartime in order to punish her husband for revealing the truth about lying us into a war, and unprecedented vacation days for a privileged president during that war -- all brought to us courtesy of a Republican Administration.

Here's an understatement for you: Bush's economic plans have not worked.

Is your home as valuable as it was a few years ago? Are you paying a different gas price than I am? Do you not know any teenagers gone off to fight and die in this stupid war?

We need change now.
In fact, after listening to the news this morning about Bush saber-rattling again in Europe about Iran, I'm afraid of what might happen between now and January.

We can do better! Yes, we can!

What is amazing about these comments is that Republicans have been saying the exact same thing since 1980 - that's almost thirty years, for you mathematically challenged GOPers - and although it hasn't worked yet, they continue to believe it.

How many times do Republican voters need to get hammered on the head before they realize who is hammering them?

OK, you don't like Carter. Nobel Peace Prize, Habitat for Humanity -- none of his post-presidency work matters to you. OK, fine.
But Obama is working to change the way things are done in Washington, and unless you are a multi-millionaire, voting against him is voting against your own interests.
Do you want to keep paying outrageous health care costs because the poorest among us can only get their medical care in emergency rooms?
Do you want to keep watching our gas prices rise? The average is over $4.00 per gallon for the first time in history today.
Do you want to see our teens go off to fight and die in perpetual war?
I want change. I want change now.
OBAMA!
What you've said, mama, is what we called "Blind Faith". Like a worshiper full of "wishful thinkings", a naive believer kneels at the bedside every night praying to the unseen God. Your belief in Obama would be turned out to be a joke so embarrassed to be mentioned anytime soon. None of the candidates and those politicians in Washington/Capital Hill would save America now. It would only become worse and worse.

When any candidate claimed that he or she would bring "CHANGE(S)" once got elected, I'd always treat it as a bad sign. Because since day one that the so-called "election" was invented, all the so-called "candidates" have been use this big word to get elected. But look where and what we are now. Once these politicians got elected, it's business as usual again. The lies never changed, the "CHANGES" never changed. If you believe changes would be brought in by Obama or any other candidate, you must be a moron.
This country is beyond salvage even a 'coup-de-ta' won't do, even it would be the only dramatic and drastic action that we might call "CHANGE". Other than that, nothing could be called 'CHANGE.'
But do you think a 'coup-de-ta' or a 'revolution' in the 21st century would do good a nation? Absolutely not! Take a look at Russia, China, Cuba, Vietnam....those people who did the coup-de-ta or revolution never 'changed' their nations better but worse.
You think Obama would change this nation better? No, man, he just want you to change your vote to him, that's all.

It will become worst and worst because of the big hole of crap that BUSH has dug us in. No one can get us out of this mess. No one. And its all your fault, because you voted in BUSH for 8 years. He has turned this country upside down. And people are still willing to vote in another Republican. Puleze!

What did Carter and the Shaw have to do with whats going on now. Thats 30 yrs ago since Carter has been in office and 4 presidents since then. If Carter messed up so much, how come Reagan didn't have our troops over there fighting.

For all you liberals who think the reputation of the america has fallen to new lows ... much of the blame is yours for personally attacking Bush and america bothe here and overseas.

Agreed. Obama would be Carter all over again. Just a slightly different color. Isn't it funny how all those blacks have suddenly forgot he is half white? You know, the ones that have been jumping up and down beating on their own for mating with whites!!! Here is the real reason Obama would be a disaster, and our youth don't even know.

Jimmy Carter is a Bigot and Racist! Many of his staff resigned in protest because of his disgraceful comments about Israel in Carter's last book.

Jimmy Carter's economic and International policies as President were a disaster! Double digit inflation destroyed the savings of most retired Americans. His extreme interest rates caused the failure of tens or hundreds of thousands of small businesses (mine included).

Then he caused the takeover by Radical Muslems in Iran, by betraying the Shah... WE (the world) are still paying with wars and blood around the world because of Mr. Carter's inexperience and leftist policies!

Mr. Carter had the gall to blame America for "malaise"! This is like Barney Frank talking about acting responsibly in dealing with Fannie and Freddy!

Mr. Obama's economic and International policies are just too reminiscent of "The Carter Years". If you own a small business, I suggest that it is time to start sending resumes, as the taxation by Obama will force many small business owners to migrate to Big Business.

If Obama is smart, he will refuse any endorsement by Mr. Carter.

If America is smart, America will defeat a second coming of the Carter years!
