New restaurant brings French flare to Morrow
“Wings and fries, wings and rice ... that was it”

The food and service at Peche is excellent. I highly recommend it to anyone in the Atlanta area desiring a fine dining experience out of the normal routine. I was excited to find out that Peche was Black-owned AND offered French cuisine, a true rarity in the American dining world. The food was outstanding. I look forward to dining there again and trying something different on the menu.

Extremely nice owners and excellent food!

What difference does "Black-owned" make? |

Just ate there for lunch. Absolutely fabulous!!!!
Food is good and chef came out and spoke with us. Service staff is very friendly and provided excellent service! If you haven't eaten there you should. It's very, very good and very affordable for such a wonderful lunch! |

I too have heard great things about this place. I understand there is a dress code, kinda like that. But I am not sure you are helping the place by stressing black owned. I don't usually ask about color of the owners at establishments I patronize. So when it is brought up, I feel that maybe it is a hint to exclude me and my family. That maybe it is for black folks only. I only care if the food is good. They should only care if my money is green.

Maybe you missed this part;"a true rarity in the American dining world.
I too have eaten at peche & the food was excellent. Its cheaper at lunch & the food is great. Especially the peach cheese cake. |

How would you feel if it were a soul food or chicken wing restaurant that someone was gushing over being white owned? That, too would be rarity. It just seems bad form to point that out. Either way, the first post was obviously made by the owner. |

We had a celebration dinner there and were extremely pleased with both the dinner and service, no matter who owns the restaurant. Truly enjoyed the owner and chef coming out to speak with us. So glad we didn't have to drive in to Atlanta for such a great meal.

I do not know the people who wrote the comment about being Black-owned, nor do I believe it was there intent for you to be somewhat offended that maybe it is only for black folks. If you are somewhat apprehensive about going because of the nationality of the owners (one being African-America, and the other being African), let me be the first to tell you that the restaurant is for ANYONE who wants to enjoy fine dining and great food. I'm going to the perfectly honest, the clientel of the restaurant is extremely diverse! As a matter of fact, I took my good friend there for her birthday and one of the first things that she commented on was the atmosphere and loving the fact that there were othe cultures there experiencing what great food this chef had to offer. Some of us are not use to seeing certain things. So please do not let that comment stop you from enjoying a great experience. |

I live here in Jonesboro, if I were that easily offended by remarks like that I would never go out my door. I just think things work both ways. I am the minority here and I would never recommend something by adding it is white owned.

Wow! I never thought that would generate offensive thoughts. I hope that my comments did not harm the owners' of Peche and their business as they were not meant to be detrimental. I am not the owner nor a partner in Peche, just someone who was visiting the area and was treated to a wonderful dinner and felt compelled to write a comment on what I thought was a truly magnificent dining experience during my trip. Please do not let my comments sway or deter you from spending your money where you please.

They won't deter me. I just like good food.

1 Bottom line, it is rude, offensive, and divisive to remark about race at all. A black owned French restaurant? A white owned wing place? How about a Philippine owned Taco shop? Shame. Get rid of the racist, racial crap and just let the food and the restaurant speak for itself. |

I had dinner last night and it was excellent. I am going to lunch today. I originally was introduced to the chef's food when he had a sandwich shop in Morrow. What ever is your point of view, what matters is the food and it is excellent.

My first time visting this comment site and it's truly sickning that the people in this world think and say the things they say! To the owners, I have never been and my daughters Birthday is coming and someone told her about this restaurant and she wanted to take a few friends and go and I don't care who you are or what you look like, we are ALL GODS CHILDREN and I will be trying your restaurant soon. You owners just ignore all this mess when you read it. Keep on doing what GOD has given you too do..

it only makes a difference to people with some small amount of intelligence, so i dont think you have to worry about it |
