It's the illegal aliens raping the system and it's a national crisis that's "killing us", literally. Not to mention financially, when taxpayers or the hospitals end up paying for their healthcare. Six hospitals have closed this year alone because of the abuse.

I found it VERY strange that there was no mention of the illegals using our ER's & ER doctors as Primary Care physicians. What is wrong with the media? Everyone knows that the meat of the problem is illegal aliens, yet whoever wrote the story thought they could just gloss over it?...quit insulting my intelligence.

Well, that a short time compared to DC. You will sit in the emergency room almost 2 hours just to have your name called then another 2-3 hours to be seen. I had a heart attack two years ago and sit in the emergency room for 3 hours and the staff knew I had a heart attack. They don't care any more about people. Just looking for a new mate to mess around with in the hospital.

My son sat 13 hours in an emergency room in PA with a broken leg (bone thru skin). Just think how bad it is going to be if they install universal healthcare - it an only get worse!

To say that illegal use of ER's is "the meat" of the problem displays an ignorance of the facts of the issue at hand.

Use of medical care especially ER's by illegal immigants for routine care has in deed cost not only US tax payer's monies in hospital and doctors bills but American lives too. The illegal immigration issue needs to be addressed and the lawlessness needs to be stopped. Document and deport all illegal immigrants. IRS taxes and filings and subsiquient US jail time due as well. US can use US prisoners before obtaining and using any foreign immigrants. USA should adopty Mexican immigration laws. Mexico deports more illegal immigrants than the USA.
