The article mentioned Horton, a business major and economics minor. Apparently Horton wasn't paying much attention in accounting classes. He doesn't even know how much debt his student loan amounts to. His estimates vary by $10,000. Apparently, he was also napping in economics classes if he was foolish enough to take on debt in the first place. Why didn't Horton take advantage of Hope Scholarship money and go to a state university for free? If he was too dumb to get a scholarship and didn't learn business and economic fundamentals in a private college that cost him money I wouldn't want him working for me. He's already wasted $70,000 or $80,000. Don't let him get control of company money.

Georgia has created 8,000 new jobs so far this year. A normal year would have been more like 30,000. Most of the new jobs have been loading ships in port Savannah. The weaker dollar has made U.S. exports cheaper and much more in demand by the rest of the world.

I went thru the same struggles after I graduated in 2001. My advice is to keep the faith and network like crazy because that's how I got my job.

Thousands of new jobs await Georgians in Savannah. The dredging of the river at Savannah will allow the new super cargo ships to dock and load. These new jobs are being held up by the environmentalists who claim that the dredging will muddy the water and suffocate some fish. How about if we just drag nets down the river and catch all those fish and feed the hungry?

City of Atlanta is laying off. No job qualifications to work for Atlanta except be a political supporter of the mayor. Straight white males need not apply.

The Democrats have been in power in Congress for 18 months now and jobs have been on the decline throughout America for the last 4 months. Whatever happened to the promises for change? It's time to put the Democrats out of work.

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Libra

If you're invited to a party or gathering today and you don't know whether to go, you should. You'll have a terrific time and you might meet someone who always makes your knees go weak. Even if it's a perfectly harmless flirtation and you're both happily committed to other people, it will still do your ego good to have a tantalizing conversation with this person.
