Everyone needs to know the facts before passing judgement on Christi Zelek! The fact of the matter is that 90% of what is being reported is FALSE! Lets start 13 months ago….Tessa Zelek went into labor 3 months early (the day after her baby shower) and had to have an emergency “C” Section. The boys weighed a little over 3 lbs at birth and spent a long time in Southern Regional. The media failed to mention that the twins were Premi’s and not normal 13 month old children! The boys have been to multiple doctors and have been sick since the day they were born! They have spent most of their lives in and out of the Hospital. Tessa has asked numerous Doctor’s why they were so small and she has laways been told “it is because they are Pre-mature babies and they are not as developed as normal children their age” and she has also constantly been told “You will always have criticism because they were born so Pre-Mature.” Now lets fast forward… There is alot that has not been reported in the media. First was that in October the boys saw the Pediatrician and was even given a Flu Shot! Tessa called the day after because the boys were sick because of the shot and was told to give them tylenol. How could that quack Doctor give sick Pre-Mature babies a Flu Shot? If there was a malnutrician problem at that time why didn’t he send them to the hospital instead of giving them the flu? Why did the reporters not state that DFACS was out at Tessa and Jay’s house 1.5 weeks before 11/20/07. When the caseworker unexpectedly showed up at their house Tessa was in the process of Feeding the boys. The caseworker held the boys, talked to Tessa, came back the next day and drug tested them (They passed!) and stated he did not see anything wrong. Why has none of this been reported? The friday before 11/20/07 Tessa had to be taken by ambulance because she had a seizure while she was in the store. Tessa has been under the care of a Doctor for some time bacause of Grand Mal seizures. On 11/20/07 when Christi Zelek came to Tessa and Jay’s house to check on them they were not unconscious! Tessa was very sick and had had a seizure earlier that day. She was vomitting and very weak. Jay was also very sick. The family member that Christi Zelek was said to have called actually called her offering help and offered to care for the boys so that christi could get Medical help for Tessa and Jay. There was no hiding of any children!!!! Christi told her to do whatever she needed to do to care for the boys. The “family member” had the boys for a while and stated they were doing OK and said she would contact another “family member” who had experience with Pre-Mature babies to help. Meanwhile Tessa was having seizures with the Paramedics at their house. Jay and Tessa were both Taken by ambulance to Henry Medical Center. Tessa never refused a drug test and never signed herself out! The head nurse at the hospital was also called and begged to please keep Tessa over-night for observation and would not. Tessa was released at 2:30am that morning because they said that she had not had another seizure and was just weak and vomitting. Christi Zelek did nothing wrong! She loved, cared and tried to help a whole family!!!! She did not “clean up” the trailer, but she was the boys bottles. I guess cleaning bottles is considered cleaning up!

They were not born pre-mature for any reasons involving her taking Oxycontin when she was pregnant is there!!!! Put that in there. There is is not excuse in the way those boys looked and the condition they were in. If there was all this family support where were they when they before they got to that point, and get some common sense to take them to another doctor? Tessa has always been on drugs from the time she was a teenager.

Hello! Is anybody there???? My daughter was born earlier than these twins. Did you see the full body pictures of these children??? If you had, there is NO WAY you would be defending any family member. NO WAY!!! These children were obviously malnurished. Also, is the hospital lying??? They have Rickets!!! You only get Rickets from being malnurished! There is no defense in this matter.

Just to let you know I am more concerned with the beatings Tessa took for years from Jay! I don't care what anybody says about 4-7 years ago! This is now dumb stupid people! I have pictures and "Jay's" friends since he was a child. One was there one month before when "Jay" dropped his children because he was soooo F***ck Up and then he beat Tessa because she was upset! Hwe tried to kill himself two years ago because Tessa was going to leave him! Hello one more thing...The Doctors that saw the boys their whole lives said that they were not deprived! These boys even seee Gastro Doctors because of stomach problems. Go to court and lern the truth! The boys Weighed .7oz less when they were admitted to Egelston that they did when they saw the Doctor in 10/2007. The Detectives where called in on th 26th 6 days after Egelston starved them and they lost 3 lbs while in Egelston's costudy! The, and only the. where pictures taken! You stupid people make your commits based on nothing learn the facts you ignorent people. Ask for the court records. BOY will you be shocked!

They did not even drop a whole pound from the Doctors Appt. in Ocyober. I was in court and the Detetives were not called until yje 26...6 days later after Egelston starved them and they lost 3 lbs! They weighed close to 10lbs when admitted, just as they did when that quack Pediatrician gave tham the Flu Shot! Ask for the weights from 11/20, not from 11/26!

well at least now tessa can be away from this idiot... and i think it is way wrong for anyone to assume it is only the mothers responsibility... tessa did not get pregnant by herself... and she shouldnt have to raise them by herself..but it does sound to me like she is better off with out him... i can not believe his lawyer tried to throw that crap in there either that he shouldnt be responsible... i think that is bull...who has the babies now... and why wouldnt they gain weight? what is wrong with their stomachs... if what you say is true those babies should have been in the hospital months ago undergoing tests or something to see why they couldnt gain weight.

I have a cousin with twins born premature. At birth they weighed 4 & 4.5 lbs respectively. At 13 months old they weighed 25 lbs. Sorry, from what I've read, these babies were malnourished---they weighed less than 10 lbs. Come on people. It's obvious these kids weren't properly cared for and the grandmother HAD A DUTY to report it and SHE DIDN'T.
But if my kids were cutting up and I whipped their behinds, I bet she would have reported that!
Sorry, but MY tax $$$ need to go to better use--fire her!!
