Report: Tuskegee Airmen lost at least 25 bombers to enemy planes

At least 25 bombers being escorted by the Tuskegee Airmen over Europe during World War II were shot down by enemy aircraft, according to a new report from the Air Force.

The article misquoted me. My research counted only aircraft shot down by enemy aircraft. I did not count, among the 25 lost aircraft, any that were shot down by ground fire.
