What is it with these Austrians?

Must admit, if I had to live there I'd go mad too.

Next you know they'll canonise Hitler

Wowwwwww, here we go again! Again, the whole family looked the other way!! That young man had to be in therapy just like Joseph needed to be when he was 39.

Austrian people really need the support of their Government. People need to be thought how to watch each other within the family and also neighborhood watch is very important. Also they need to be encouraged to report anything suspicious no matter how dangerous it might be, re assured that they will get all the help and support!

The amount and frequency of similar events will surely result in Psychological Health Professional and Institution deficiency in Austria. I am sure the International contribution to the cause will be needed and offered. Austria might become Europe's Psychological Treatment Center in the near future. The country is already the Center of Classical Music which is known to be the most therapeutic of all!!

In a country of 8 million people there will be a few deranged and violent people. This is one more horrible case, but it does not mean that all Austrians are a problem.

I have heard that they pride themselves for staying out of each other's business. In modern society that it pretty normal... sad but normal.

I guess that's because in Europe guns are banned. Not to get into the gun ownership debate, but it goes to show that when people want to kill they will find something to do it with. In London there is a huge problem with "yobs" (I guess that is a gangster term there) who go around stabbing. One just killed a 16 year old boy for no reason except that he wouldn't fight him. So this guy breaks he shop window and cuts this poor boy's throat. He didn't even know him. No drug related crime. He just wanted to kill someone. It's sick. crazy.

Thank God guns are banned in some countries. I mean really some people don't know the difference between reality and fantasy. Our lives are not some stupid computer game, once your dead your dead. You don't get up again - and the attacker does'nt accumulate points.
Too many people want serious damage on others, why?
There's no respect for our own kind anymore.

I live in Houston, Texas and there is killings every day.

Austria has little crime but when it happens the Press goes wild.

Austria is still a wonderful country.
I am going to vacation there this summer.

I too love Austria... their population is only 8 million people. Countries with lower population per sq mile tend to have lower crime rates.

What posts here are polite when jokes are made of murder? If this had been something that happened in a Muslim country or amongst black people, what would these white people have written?
